JANESVILLE - Albany's Jake Lincicum continued his stellar senior season Saturday with an impressive performance in the 71st Annual Midwest Invitational cross country meet.
Lincicum finished 18th individually out of 206 runners in the 31-team meet at Blackhawk Golf Course in Janesville with a time of 16 minutes, 46 seconds.
The Comets finished 23rd overall. Other Albany competitors were Jake Short (18:31, 123rd), Drew Mather (18:49, 145th), Reece Whitehead (18:50, 147th), Tyler Bauman (19:24, 171st), Travis Helland (19:29, 174th) and Tyler Conley (20:01, 190th).
