Age 90, of Monroe, died Friday, June 10, 2022 at Graceland Manor. Joyce was born on December 26, 1931 in Monroe, the daughter of Robert Leo and Helen Faith (Hoffmeister) Broge. She graduated from Monroe High School in 1950. Joyce was a city girl that became a farmer’s wife in Blanchardville following her marriage to Willis I. Wahl in 1953. She worked as a nursing assistant at St. Clare Hospital and Pleasant View before retiring from Dorman’s Cheese. After retirement, Joyce found her dream job as the “coffee lady” at QuikTrip. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles and visiting with family and friends. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother and grandmother who enjoyed helping others.

She is survived by two daughters, Michelle “Shelly” (Keith) Kubly of Monticello, Heidi (Dan) Flynn of Anchorage, Alaska; son-in-law, Howard L. McKee of Monroe; grandchildren, Dan Kubly, Jinelle Kubly, Mikala Mckee, and Jason McKee; greatgrandchildren, Jacklyn and Aidan Kubly; brother, William Broge of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and sister, Diane Jones of Monroe. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Rebecca McKee; three sisters, Carol Bayrhoffer, Bonnie Broge, Sharon Jacobs; and four brothers, Russell, Virgil, Gary, and Byron Broge.

Private family graveside services will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022, at Greenwood Cemetery, Monroe. A celebration of Joyce's life will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Koning Maple Lane Event Center, N3051 Highway 81, Monroe. Memorials are suggested in Joyce’s name to Monroe Clinic Hospice or Meals on Wheels.
