BRODHEAD - Residents are reminded by the Brodhead Police Dept. to make snow removal safer and quicker winter parking ordinances are in effect for Dec. 1 to March 15 of every year.

No one is allowed to park on any city street once two inches of snow has fallen - until it has been plowed curb to curb. Parking is also prohibited in areas specially posted indicating "no parking due to snow plowing or removal." These would be declared snow emergency areas.

No one shall park or leave standing any vehicle in the designated business district in the city between the hours of 2:30 a.m. to 6 a.m. The business district is defined as follows:

Both sides of Exchange street from its intersection with W. 3rd Ave.

Both sides of 1st Center Ave. (Hwy. 11) from its intersection with 10th St. to its intersection with 12th St.

Both sides of W 2nd Ave. for its intersection 10th St. to its intersection with 12th St.

Both sides of E 2nd Ave. from its intersection with 10th St. its intersection with 12th St.

Thanks to the Brodhead residents for following city winter parking regulations.
