MONROE - With Cheese Days now a fading memory and the holidays far in the future, St. Victor Parish has a special weekend of fun and games planned to help bridge the gap.

On Saturday, the St. Victor Fall Festival begins at 4 p.m. with mass. A homemade spaghetti and meatball dinner will follow the service, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. The evening also features a silent auction, music, adult games and door prizes awarded throughout the evening.

Sunday opens with a special Polka Mass featuring the Greg Anderson Band at 9 a.m., followed by the return of a local favorite, the Chicken Barbecue, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Other Sunday activities include the St. Victor's Got Talent Show from 1 to 3 p.m. A special silent auction with hundreds of items, will take place from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and the raffle drawing takes place at 3 p.m.

Both days will feature games, a pie sale, refreshments and a pumpkin and gourd sale. All proceeds from the St. Victor Fall Festival go to improvements at the Parish elementary school.
