On September 4:
● 6:07 a.m. A deputy responded to STH 81, Argyle Township for a vehicle vs horse accident. Claudia M. Miller, 24, Argyle was traveling on STH 81 when she struck a horse that was in the roadway. Miller reported no injuries. Miller’s 2016 Chevrolet received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
On September 5:
● 7:21 a.m. Nicole E. Zimmerman, 40, Blanchard-ville reported striking a deer on CTH N, Argyle Township. Zimmerman reported no injuries. Zimmerman’s 2023 Toyota received functional damage and was driven from the scene.
● 7:32 a.m. A deputy and Darlington Fire responded to Red Rock RD, Darlington Township for a two vehicle accident. Ethan J. Edge, 19, Platteville was traveling on Red Rock Rd negotiating a curve when he struck the oncoming vehicle operated by Behrett L. Cecil, 16, South Wayne. No injuries were reported. Both Edge’s 2016 Chevrolet and Cecil’s 2010 Honda received disabling damage and were towed from the scene. Darlington Police assisted.
● 9:57 a.m. A deputy responded to E Roosevelt ST, Cuba City for a two vehicle accident. Kevin J. Casper, 38, Hazel Green was traveling on E Roosevelt ST in his 2026 Chevrolet when a 2018 Chrysler operated by James T. Meneguin, 86, Cuba City performed a backing maneuver out of the driveway striking Casper. No injuries were reported. Meneguin’s 2018 Chrysler received functional damage and was driven from the scene. Casper’s 2026 Chevrolet received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
● 11:47 a.m. Marian G. Seffrood, 97, Darlington reported striking a deer on Riverside RD, Wiota Township. Seffrood reported no injuries. Seffrood’s 2011 Buick received functional damage and was driven from the scene.
● 10:58 p.m. A deputy responded to Otter Creek RD, Darlington Township for a one vehicle accident. Cooper B. Schraepfer, 16, Hollandale was traveling on Otter Creek RD when he lost control of the vehicle and entered the ditch. Schraepfer reported no injuries. Schraepfer’s 2011 Ford received functional damage and was driven from the scene.
On September 6:
● 1:39 a.m. A deputy responded to STH 78, Argyle Township for a motorist assist. As a result, David Cruz-Camacho, 28, Darlington was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated (OWI-2nd Offense), Operating After Revocation (OAR), and Bail Jumping. Cruz-Camacho was transported to Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and later released.

● 6:46 p.m. Ryan J. Pratt, 44, Dodgeville reported striking a deer on STH 81, Darlington Township. Pratt reported no injuries. Pratt’s 2015 Chevrolet received functional damage and driven from the scene.
On September 9:
● 4:30 p.m. Daniel D. Callaway, 57, Darlington reported striking a deer on STH 81, Darlington Township. Callaway reported no injuries. Callaway’s 2018 Chevrolet received functional damage and was driven from the scene.
On September 12:
● 10:53 p.m. Jonathan Gonzalez Garcia, 20, Platteville was cited for OWI 1st (Operating while under the Influence 1st offense), Speeding, Operate Motor Vehicle by permittee after dark without Instructor, and Underage Person Transport Intoxicants in Motor Vehicle while on Galena ST, City of Darlington. Garcia was brought to Lafayette County Jail where he was later released to a responsible party.
On September 14:
● 8:03 a.m. A deputy responded to S Varnum ST, Village of South Wayne for a two vehicle accident. Kayla M. Foster, 33, South Wayne was stopped at a stop sign on E Pleasant ST when she was rear ended by Braylon D. Bidlingmaier, 16, Monroe. No injuries were reported. Foster’s 2016 Jeep and Bidlingmaier’s 2018 Ram received minor damage and were driven from the scene.
On September 17:
● 10:48 p.m. Mary K. Fecht, 37, Livingston was cited for Possession of Controlled Substances on Ipswitch RD, Elk Grove Township. Thomas A. Hons, 58, Stitzer was arrested on a Valid Lafayette County Warrant. Hons was transported to Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and remains in custody.
