MONROE - The Wisconsin Community Bank 2010 "Salute to America" Sky Concert fireworks show will be held at 9:30 p.m. Monday, July 4, at Twining Park, Monroe.

The show will cap off the Monroe Parks and Recreation Fourth of July celebration, which will be held at the park throughout the day.

All proceeds from the day festivities, below, will go toward Twining Park ball diamond improvements.

Food and Concessions located throughout the Park include:

- Koning's Ribeye Grill, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. - cinnamon rolls, coffee, roast beef sandwiches, ribeye sandwiches, pork sandwiches, butterfly pork chop sandwiches and potato salad.

- Knights of Columbus, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. - hot dogs, brats, cotton candy, Sno-Cones and popcorn.

- National Historic Cheesemaking Center, 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. - crème puffs.

- South shelter concessions, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. - lemonade, water, nachos and ice cream.

- Bandshell concessions, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. - pizza and bread sticks.

Entertainment at the bandshell:

- 10:15 to 10:30 a.m. - Tot Lot Singers

- 1 to 2 p.m. - Studio M Dancers

- 8 to 9 p.m. - City Band concert

Children's Fun at the Park

- Carnival games - 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

- Horse and wagon rides, across the road from the south shelter - 1 to 4 p.m.

Sports activities

- Midget League game, Twining West ball diamond - noon to 1 p.m.

- Little girls softball game, Twining East ball diamond - noon to 1 p.m.

- Soccer tournament, YMCA - 8 a.m. to noon

- Co-ed slowpitch and volleyball tournaments - 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Monroe Parks and Recreation is still seeking volunteers for carnival games and concessions.

Volunteers for carnival games would work in two-hour shifts and must be of at least middle-school age to volunteer. Volunteers for concessions must be adults.

The Fourth of July fireworks show is produced by Krueger Pyrotechnics & Firework Displays and Tower Sound.
