Argyle - The Argyle Police Department is looking for a man who injured a convenience store employee at about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Ampride Convenience Store.

Police report an Ampride employee was entering the store when she was attacked from behind by the man. He forced her against the door and an alarm alerted police of a problem at the store. The man shoved the woman against a cooler, and she was injured and became disoriented.

A short time later another employee arrived at the store and called 911. The Lafayette County Sheriff's Department and Argyle Police officers responded. Argyle Emergency Medical Services also arrived at the scene. The employee declined medical transport and was taken to Monroe Clinic by private vehicle.
