This undated Trukenbrod photo shows the Riley Brothers plumbing business, which was located where the Goetz theater building was built later. The lot with all the trees would become the home of the post office in 1932. For more information about Monroe or the area, contact Matt Figi at 608-325-6503 or mfigi48@tds.net. Membership in the Green County Historical Society is affordable and is for the calendar year.
