MONROE - Nonunionized Green County employees will be making 3 percent more by midyear 2012, the Personnel & Labor Relations Committee decided Wednesday.
A 2-percent pay raise goes into effect Jan. 1. Salaries will bump up 1 more percent July 1. The increase affects all county employees not represented by a union, including elected officials, department heads and managers, or about 70 people.
The county already accounted for the raises into the 2012 budget, according to committee chair Art Carter.
