MONROE — Tina L. Gibson, 45, Monroe, was transported to Monroe Clinic by Green County EMS for treatment of non-life threatening injuries she sustained in a two-vehicle crash reported at 6:22 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, at the intersection of 6th Street and 8th Avenue. She was eastbound on 6th Street when a southbound vehicle on 8th Avenue collided with her vehicle. The other driver, Luke R. Kuberski, 17, rural Monroe, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and were towed.


Green County Sheriff 

MONROE — Haley A. Pick, 20, Monroe, reported no injuries after deputies responded for a vehicle in the ditch at Freeport Road and Theiler Road, Town of Jefferson, at 8:26 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14. She was westbound on Theiler Road when her vehicle suffered mechanical failure and went through the intersection, into the ditch and hit multiple trees The vehicle sustained moderate damage. It was towed.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Monday, Dec. 30:

●  Injuries were reported from a rollover crash at 9:58 a.m. in the Town of Belmont. Robert D. McCall, 60, Platteville, was southbound on West Mound Road at County XX when he lost control, entered the ditch and rolled. He was cited for no proof of vehicle insurance. The 2002 Dodge sustained severe damage. It was towed. The Platteville Fire Department and Southwest Health EMS assisted a deputy on scene.

●  Jennifer L. Jacobson, 35, Cuba City, reported hitting a deer at 5:41 p.m. on County F, Town of Darlington. No injuries were reported. The 2016 GMC sustained minor damage.

●  A vehicle in the ditch was reported at 6:32 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

●  A vehicle in the ditch was reported at 7:27 p.m. on County F, Town of Fayette.

●  No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at 7:49 p.m. on Blake Street in Blanchardville. A female minor was northbound when her vehicle was sideswiped by Terri J. Hughes, 58, Blanchardville, who was southbound and trying to avoid hitting a third vehicle due to slippery road conditions. The female minor’s 2015 Ford sustained moderate damage. Hughes’ 2012 Chevrolet sustained minor damage.

On Friday, Jan. 3: 

●  A rollover crash was reported at 11:07 a.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont. Carly C. Tibbits, 22, Mineral Point, was northbound when she swerved to miss a slow-moving highway work vehicle. She then lost control. Her 2011 GMC entered the ditch, hit a fence and overturned. It sustained severe damage and was towed. Tibbits declined medical treatment. She was cited for failure to maintain control. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, Platteville police, the Platteville Fire Department and Southwest Health EMS assisted on scene.

●  Rebecca L. Thompson, 16, Darlington, was eastbound at about 11:30 p.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont, when she lost control of her 2007 Lincoln due to road conditions. She crossed the center line, entered the ditch and hit a culvert and mailboxes. No injuries were reported. The Lincoln was towed.

On Monday, Jan. 6:

●  Alyvia C. Riley, 25, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 7:39 p.m. on County Shop Road, Town of Darlington. The 2018 Chevrolet sustained minor damage.

On Wednesday, Jan. 8:

●  Peter F. Bonin, 39, Platteville, reported hitting a deer at 10:30 p.m. on Turnbull Road, Town of Belmont. No injuries were reported. His 2015 GMC sustained moderate damage.

On Thursday, Jan. 9:

●  Yvonne E. Hady, 71, Gays Mills, reported hitting a deer at 6:21 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne. No injuries were reported. The 2018 Dodge sustained severe damage. It was towed.

●  Dennis J. McGuire, 65, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 7:57 p.m. on County C, Town of Argyle. No injuries were reported. The 2004 Pontiac sustained moderate damage.

On Friday, Jan. 10:

●  Gary R. Peterson, 45, Blanchardville, reported hitting a deer at 7:16 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington. The 2014 Ford sustained minor damage.

●  A vehicle in the ditch was reported at 7:34 p.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont. As a result, Billie J. Breuer, 35, Platteville, was cited for failure to maintain control and improper vehicle registration. Platteville police assisted.

On Sunday, Jan. 12:

●  A one-vehicle accident was reported at 12:49 a.m. on County F, Town of Fayette. Lisa A. Paulson, 47, Darlington, was westbound when she lost control, causing the vehicle to enter the ditch and hit two road signs. The 2011 Dodge, owned by Ruf’s Farm Service, sustained moderate damage and was towed. Paulson was cited for failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle.

On Monday, Jan. 13:

●  Debra K. Whalen, 57, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 4:26 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs. No injuries were reported. The 2014 Ford sustained moderate damage.

●  Tammy J. Mulcahy, 54, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 5:44 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington. No injuries were reported. The 2018 Chevrolet sustained moderate damage.

On Tuesday, Jan. 14:

●  Robert M. Martin, 25, Mineral Point, reported hitting a deer at 7:07 p.m. on County G, Town of Kendall. No injuries were reported. The 2005 Saturn sustained moderate damage.

On Wednesday, Jan. 15:

●  No injuries were reported from a vehicle vs. power pole crash at 7:54 a.m. on County J, Town of Benton. Dawn M. Phillips, 45, Potosi, lost control, causing her 2005 Ford to enter the ditch and hit a power pole. The Ford sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

●  Heather E. Wilkinson, 33, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 5:45 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs. No injuries were reported. Her 2012 Chevrolet sustained moderate damage.
