GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF
MONROE - On Friday:
No injuries were reported after Danny L. Rindy, 58, New Glarus, struck a deer in the N4300 block of Wisconsin 69, Town of Monroe.
No injuries were reported at 2:03 p.m. after Joseph D. Ruegsegger, 22, Browntown, lost control of his vehicle before leaving the roadway and striking some trees on Smock Valley Road, Town of Jordan. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene. The incident remains under investigation.
No injuries were reported at 9:42 p.m. after Cole A. Fortney, 16, Monroe, lost control of his vehicle and entered a ditch in the W4000 block of County K-S, Town of Jefferson. Fortney was cited for failing to maintain control of his vehicle. His vehicle
sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
On Saturday, no injuries were reported at 2:06 a.m. after Michael Allen Rothenbuehler, 24, South Wayne, swerved to avoid striking a deer in the W7400 block of Franklin Road, Town of Cadiz and entered a ditch. Rothenbuehler left the scene and found a ride to South Wayne. Rothenbuehler was found and arrested on a Green County child support warrant. He was also cited for driving with a suspended license, driving too fast for conditions and failing to report an accident to the police. Rothenbuehler was jailed. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
On Sunday:
No injuries were reported after Debra L. Crabtree-Runde, 49, Dubuque, Iowa, struck a deer in the W7700 block of Wis. 11, Town of Cadiz.
No injuries were reported after Rodney E. Stewart, 27, South Wayne, struck a deer in the W6600 block of Wis. 11, Town of Clarno.
No injuries were reported at 2:44 p.m. after Brooke E. Kamholz, 16, Juda, lost control of her vehicle in the W5600 block of Aebly Road, Town of Monroe, and entered a ditch before striking the side of a building. Kamholz was cited for driving too fast for conditions. Her vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene. The building sustained minor damage.
No injuries were reported at 3:21 p.m. after Arthur F. McGinty, 71, Brodhead, lost control of his vehicle in the N3700 block of Decatur Sylvester Road, Town of Sylvester, entered a ditch and drove over a culvert. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and remained on scene.

DARLINGTON - On Friday, a driver sustained minor injuries at 2:20 a.m. after a one-vehicle accident on Tiny Road, Town of Monticello. Miranda N. McFarland, 21, Chicago, failed to negotiate a curve and struck a pole. McFarland was cited for driving while intoxicated (first offense) and failure to keep her vehicle under control. Her vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.
