Police were called at 3:44 a.m. to the 2300 block of 14th Avenue for an ongoing dispute between family members over text messages. No one was cited or arrested.
A short-haired dog chasing after a boy on a bicycle was reported at 11:41 a.m. in the 2300 block of 10th Street. Police did not locate the dog or boy.
Police took an anonymous complaint at 2:24 p.m. that a shrub was blocking the view for drivers leaving the lot at Culver's, 252 8th St. An officer stopped by but didn't see any obstruction.
Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of 21st Street at 8:29 p.m. for a 911 pocket dial. There was no emergency.
Loud music from a vehicle outside an apartment complex in the 700 block of 10th Avenue Court was reported at 10:17 p.m. They were warned to turn down the music.
On Monday, Sept. 9:
Unauthorized use of a debit card was reported at 2:37 p.m. in the 500 block of 6th Street. Family members are suspected.
A mother and daughter came into the police station at 3:01 p.m. to report that another student at Monroe High School was harassing the daughter. Police advised them to report their concern to the school first.
A woman in a vehicle in the 2300 block of 17th Avenue reported at 3:14 p.m. that she saw a loose dog that looked warm and took it into her car to cool off in the air-conditioning. The dog was later taken to the Green County Humane Society.
A woman called at 5:09 p.m. to a report that a man who used to date her friend is harassing her and her children. He will be warned. She was advised about taking out a restraining order.
A broken phone called 911 by mistake at 6:04 p.m. in the 1500 block of 14th Avenue.
On Tuesday, Sept. 10:
Brooklynn C. Thomas, 17, Monroe, was cited for underage possession of tobacco at 7:54 a.m. outside Monroe High School.
A 16-year-old girl was cited for truancy at 8:19 a.m. at Monroe High School.
Jack A. Nelmark, 47, Monroe, was cited for disorderly conduct at 6:50 p.m. in the 1900 block of 10th Street. He allegedly yelled at and threatened a group of middle school-aged girls who were upset with his daughter.
A dog left in a parked vehicle was reported at 11:25 a.m. outside St. Vincent de Paul, 501 1st Ave. The vehicle was gone by the time police arrived.
A caller at 3:01 p.m. in the 2500 block of 10th Street reported that a man she knows and didn't want near her was sitting in a motorcycle across the street from her home. He was gone by the time police arrived.
A woman reported at 4:51 p.m. that her wallet was stolen while she was in a bathroom at Monroe High School.

MONROE - On Monday, Sept. 10:
Ezra J. Hoesly, 75, Juda, was cited for failure to yield right-of-way at a stop sign after deputies, Monroe EMS and Juda First Response responded at 1:05 p.m. to a vehicle vs. motorcycle crash on County G at Geise Road in Spring Grove Township. Hoesley collided with a motorcycle driven by Gregory A. Raymond, 49, Juda. Raymond sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to an area hospital. He was not wearing a helmet but was wearing glasses. Hoesly was uninjured. Both the motorcycle and Hoesly's vehicle were severely damaged and towed.
Nicholas A. Elmer, 18, New Glarus, was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle following a crash at 1:22 p.m. on County N about four-fifths of a mile south of County NN in New Glarus Township. Elmer was northbound when he lost control while negotiating a left-hand curve. The vehicle struck a utility pole. The vehicle sustained moderate damage to the front right quarter panel and was towed. New Glarus police assisted deputies.
David H. Pehl, 40, Juda, was cited for failure to yield right-of-way at a stop sign after deputies responded at 4:12 p.m. to a two-vehicle collision in Mount Pleasant Township. Pehl was southbound on County D when he stopped at the intersection with County EE, then continued into the intersection, colliding with a westbound vehicle driven by Leslie A. Brugger, 33, Monticello. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles were severely damaged and towed.

DARLINGTON - On Monday, Sept. 10:
Megan L. Calderon, 31, Stockton, was cited for speeding at 7:50 a.m. on Wisconsin 23 in Darlington Township.
Harassment and threats from a suspect in Grant County were reported at 10:30 a.m. at a residence on County XX in Belmont Township.
Criminal damage to property was reported at 10:38 a.m. on County F in Willow Springs Township. The rear door window on a parked delivery van had been damaged.
Several head of cattle that had wandered onto a property on County Z in Kendall Township were reported at 11:30 a.m. The property owners had been caring for the cattle several days. The livestock owner was identified.
A stolen trailer was reported at 1:30 p.m. from a property on Dobbs West Road in Lamont Township. The theft occurred sometime during the past two months. The sheriff's department entered the trailer as a stolen vehicle in the Law Enforcement Database.
A deputy responded to a residence on County XX in Belmont Township at 7:43 p.m. after the Iowa County Sheriff's Department reported receiving two 911 hangup calls from the area. No problems were noted at the residence. The person responsible for making the calls was no longer at the residence, and the occupants at the residence could not explain why the calls were made.
A deputy responded to a location in Calamine at 9:28 p.m. for a dispute between a landlord and tenant.

Littering was reported at 8:43 a.m. on Van Buren Street in Benton.
A deputy investigated a complaint at 6:57 p.m. of several television sets thrown off a bridge on Twin Bridges Road in New Diggings Township. The TVs were likely junked by the owner, and the issue is being handled as a case of littering.
A deputy and Belmont police responded to a 911 hangup call at 1:09 p.m. at the Belmont Schools on East Liberty Street. No problems were found.
A neighbor's goats were reported at 2:05 p.m. for damaging a yard and landscaping on Bluebird Lane in Darlington Township.
A deputy responded at 3:05 p.m. to a 911 hangup call from residence on Prairie Road in Seymour Township.
A theft was reported at 9:15 p.m. on Wisconsin 23 in Willow Springs Township.
