Monroe Police

MONROE - On Tuesday, May 28:

• Thomas J. Roland, 48, Warren, was arrested on a charge of driving an ATV while intoxicated at 9:25 p.m. at 18th Avenue and Mansion Drive, after police responded to a complaint. He is also charged with operating off an ATV trail and failing to take a breath test. He was jailed on a warrant issued by the Green County Sheriff's Department.

• A bicycle was found at 1:46 a.m. in the 1400 block of 9th Street. The owner may identify and claim it at the police station.

• The theft of two flatscreen televisions from Orchid International, 350 21st St., was reported at 10:01 a.m. The total estimated value is $3,000.

• A dispute between exes over firearms was reported at 11:04 a.m. at the police station.

• At 1:11 p.m. in the 1400 block of 14th Street, the ex-boyfriend involved in the previously mentioned firearms dispute alleged the same ex-girlfriend stole $1,000 in valuables.

• Staff at Northside Elementary School called 911 at 8:56 a.m. for an 11-year-old girl who fainted and hit her head. An ambulance responded.

• A litter of weaned kittens was found underneath a trailer in the 100 block of North 20th Avenue and reported at 1:42 p.m. Arrangements were made for the kittens to be taken to the Green County Humane Society. Their mother couldn't be captured.

• Police were called to Walmart, 300 6th Ave. W., for a complaint that someone shoplifted liquor. Police have leads.

• An elderly woman in the 1500 block of 7th Street reported at 3:22 p.m. that her son is abusing her and stole from her a piece of paper with phone numbers on it. Police are working with Green County Human Services to help her.

• Police are investigating a report at 3:21 p.m. that someone is making phone calls to Shopko and other local pharmacies and seeking to fill fraudulent prescriptions.

• Unauthorized use of a debit card was reported at 3:41 p.m. in the 600 block of 28th Avenue. Police have leads.

• A stray cat was captured in the 1000 block of 11th Street at 4:25 p.m. and taken to the Green County Humane Society.

• A man was warned at 5:33 p.m. for riding his bicycle on a sidewalk Downtown.

• Police responded to a dispute over harassing text messages between a current wife and ex-wife at 8:06 p.m. in the 2000 block of 16th Street.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Antonio J. Addison, 17, Monroe, was cited for driving without a valid license, failure to maintain control of a vehicle and failure to notify police of an accident after deputies responded to a rollover accident in the N2100 block of Haddinger Road in Clarno Township at 3:39 a.m. Saturday, May 25. The occupants of the vehicle had walked away from the scene but were later located by Monroe police at the address of the registered owner. An investigation showed that Addison was northbound on Haddinger Road, from Mings Road, when he veered onto the east shoulder. He overcorrected and went onto the west shoulder, where the vehicle turned onto its side. Addison and his 15-year-old passenger reported no injuries. The moderately damaged vehicle was towed.

• Brandon J. Perkins, 19, New Glarus, was cited for inattentive driving after deputies responded to a rollover accident in the W1700 block of Wis. 92 in Brooklyn Township at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, May 26. Perkins reported he was westbound when he fell asleep. The vehicle left the north side of the road, went over two driveways and became airborne. When it returned to the ditch, it overturned several times before coming to a rest on its roof in the road. Perkins reported seatbelt use and no injuries. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed.

• Lucas T. McKeon, 17, Blanchardville, was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle after deputies responded to a crash at the intersection of County H and County A in York Township at 5:03 p.m. Sunday, May 26. McKeon had been eastbound on County H when he attempted to make a U-turn in the intersection. The vehicle went into the north shoulder and slid into the ditch, where it collided with a power pole. McKeon reported seatbelt use and no injuries. The power pole sustained minor damage. McKeon was able to drive the moderately damaged vehicle from the scene after it was pulled from the ditch.

• Kurt T. Peterson, 25, Darlington, was cited for driving with a suspended license and for a seatbelt violation at 10:06 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, in the N5500 block of County N.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Carlos Catana Aparicio, 38, Darlington, was arrested on charges of driving without a valid license or vehicle insurance on County G in Kendall Township at 5 a.m. Saturday, May 25. He posted the required bond and was released.

• Dennis D. Koester, 55, Browntown, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated at 12:38 a.m. Sunday, May 26, on Wis. 78 in Argyle Township. He was also cited for operating left of center and not having vehicle insurance. He was taken to jail and later released to a responsible party.

• Tracy L. Butts, 44, South Wayne, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after deputies responded to a 911 hang-up call on South McKnight Street in South Wayne at 12 a.m. Monday, May 27. Deputies discovered a domestic disturbance had occurred. Butts posted bond and was released.

• Shane W. Holder, 20, Benton, was cited for driving with a suspended license on Railroad Street in Benton at 5:32 p.m. Friday, May 24.

• Kevin R. Mikulski, 21, Kenosha, was cited for speeding on Wis. 23 in Gratiot Township at 8:06 p.m. Friday, May 24.

• Lindsey A. Conrardy, 28, Glen Ellyn, Ill., was cited for speeding and driving with a suspended license on Wis. 23 in Gratiot Township at 8:31 p.m. Friday, May 24.

• Michael A. Duhr, 20, Verona, was cited for speeding on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg Township at 5:10 p.m. Monday, May 27.

• A deputy met with a complainant at a residence on West Dobbs Road in Lamont Township in reference to a property dispute at 2:22 p.m. Friday, May 24. The complaint is civil in nature and not criminal.

• A hit-and-run accident that damaged a mailbox on County F in Fayette Township was reported at 3:26 p.m. Friday, May 24. The hit-and-run occurred sometime during the previous night.

• A burglary and criminal damage to property were reported at a residence on Ridge Road in New Diggings Township at 4:34 p.m. Friday, May 24.

• Deputies and Hazel Green police responded to a residence on Kennedy Road in Benton Township at 11:40 p.m. Friday, May 24, after a report was taken of a suspicious vehicle parked in the area.

• Trespassing was reported on Springbrook Road in Wiota Township at 5:23 a.m. Saturday, May 25.

• A deputy took a report at 4:21 p.m. Saturday, May 25, of a disorderly conduct incident that occurred at a residence on County D in Wayne Township.

• A deputy took a complaint at 10:40 p.m. Saturday, May 25, of harassment between two people involved in an earlier altercation. The complainant was receiving threatening messages via text and social media.

• A break-in to a business on County J in Benton Township was reported at 7:42 a.m. Sunday, May 26.

• A deputy responded to a report of juveniles damaging trees on West Estey Street in Shullsburg at 3:46 p.m. Sunday, May 26.

• Tyler R. Smith, 17, Darlington, was cited for speeding on Wis. 81 in Seymour Township at 7:39 p.m. Sunday, May 26.

• Julian A. Thomas, 20, Platteville, was arrested during a traffic stop on Wisconsin 23 in Darlington Township at 2:16 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, on a charge of possessing marijuana and on a warrant issued by the Platteville Police Department. He posted bond and was released.

• Richard J. Polak, 63, Glenview, Ill., was cited for speeding on County W in New Diggings at 5:44 p.m. Tuesday, May 28.

• Telephone harassment that occurred at a residence on Summit Road in Shullsburg Township was reported at 3:18 p.m. Tuesday, May 28.
