Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• A deputy was dispatched at 6:25 p.m. for an injured animal on the roadway of Wisconsin 78, Blanchardville Township.

• A deputy transported Kurtis Keeney, 39, Shullsburg, and Meghan Wiest, 20, Darlington, to Lafayette County jail on Grant County warrants at 10:16 p.m. Both subjects were released to a Grant County deputy.

• Penny Treanor, 44, Shullsburg, was cited at 10:19 p.m. Saturday for allowing intoxicants in a vehicle, and Dennis Treanor, 54, Shullsburg, was cited for open intoxicants on County W, Monticello Township.

• Justin Tippett, 21, Benton, was arrested at 1:41 a.m. Sunday on a Lafayette County warrant for failure to pay a fine and he was jailed pending court.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Police took a report of a suspicious vehicle at 12:35 p.m. Tuesday near Elmer Road and Valle Tell Drive.

On Friday:

• Police responded at 5:02 p.m. to a residential alarm in the village. Investigation revealed the alarm was set off accidentally by the homeowner.

• Police assisted Green County deputies in checking several 911 calls coming from a cellphone in New Glarus Township.

• JoAnn Wainwright, 60, New Glarus, was cited at 5:38 p.m. Sunday for driving without insurance on 6th Avenue at 2nd Street after her vehicle was stopped for a traffic infraction.



Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD - Travis W. Wuthrich, 28, Brodhead, was cited at 10:32 a.m. Jan. 13 for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 1300 block of E. 2nd Street. Wuthrich was released pending court.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Monday:

• Kenneth A. Keller, 63, Clinton, was arrested at 1:56 a.m. for driving while intoxicated, first offense, after deputies and Monroe police responded to a report of a vehicle parked behind a residence and the driver was "passed out," in the 100 block of Wisconsin 69, Town of Cadiz. Keller was jailed and later released to a responsible party.

• Nicholas D. Gille, 36, Monroe, was arrested at 7:57 p.m. for DWI, third offense, after deputies responded to a report of two vehicles stuck in the ditch in the W6200 block of Franklin Road, Town of Clarno. Gille was westbound when his vehicle entered the ditch and became stuck. Jerry V. Coplien, 23, Monroe, stopped to check on Gille, and Coplien became stuck in the ditch as well. No one was injured and both vehicles sustained minor damage. Gille was jailed pending court. Coplien was cited for driving while revoked and released pending court. Gille's vehicle was towed from the scene. Coplien's vehicle was towed out of the ditch and then driven from the scene by a valid driver.

• Deputies recovered a drone found by an area resident. The Green County Sheriff's Office is seeking any information regarding the drone.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Monday:

• Christopher S. Meritt, 24, South Wayne, was arrested at 11:18 a.m. for domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct after deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence on West Center Street, Village of South Wayne. Meritt was jailed pending court.

• A deputy took a report of a possible computer scam at 6:29 p.m. from a resident on High Point Road, Seymour Township.

• A deputy responded at 7:35 p.m. to a report of a dog bite on County E, Shullsburg Township.



Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Elwin Eigenio Soto-Sevilla, 30, Darlington, was cited at 2:25 a.m. Tuesday for an expired registration following a traffic stop on Galena Street. Soto-Sevilla has also been referred to the District Attorney's office for potential criminal charges of driving without a license as a repeat offender.

• Guillermo Grajales-Mora, 29, Darlington, was cited at 11 p.m. Monday for driving without a license following a traffic stop on Main Street.

• Meghan Weist, 21, Darlington, was arrested at 9:58 p.m. Friday on an arrest warrant following police contact on Mary Street.
