DARLINGTON - On Feb. 10:
♦ South Wayne First Response and Green County Ambulance Service responded at 10:19 a.m. to South Galena Street in South Wayne for a medical emergency. Lafayette County Sheriff's Office assisted.
♦ Blanchardville EMS responded at 9:43 p.m. to West Wilson Street in Blanchardville for a report of a person having trouble breathing. The person was in fact intoxicated and had reportedly left the residence wearing no shoes and just a sweatshirt and pajama pants in single-digit temperatures. Four law enforcement agencies were dispatched to help locate him quickly: Blanchardville Police and the Lafayette, Green and Iowa County Sheriff's Departments. He was located and taken to safety.
On Feb. 11:
♦ Belmont Ambulance Service responded at 9:33 a.m. to Mound View Drive, Village of Belmont for a medical emergency.
♦ The South Wayne Fire Department, South Wayne First Response and Monroe Ambulance Service responded at 1:36 p.m. to a report of a possible house fire on South Warren Street in South Wayne. It was discovered to not be a house fire but a barrel smoking behind the residence's wood burner. Firefighters checked it out and found no fire or smoke damage to the house. The Lafayette County Sheriff's Office assisted on scene.
On Feb. 12:
♦ Benton First Responders and Hazel Green EMS responded at 2:08 p.m.to Aetna Road, New Diggings Township for a medical emergency.
♦ The Belmont Fire Department and EMS responded at 5:42 p.m. Monday to a house fire on Wood Street in Belmont. Deputies, including a Red Cross officer, and Belmont police assisted on scene. It was a minor fire with limited damage to the residence.

♦ Shullsburg EMS responded at 2:41 p.m. to County A, Monticello Township for a medical emergency. A deputy assisted

♦ Wiota First Responders responded at 8:45 p.m. to Wis. 78, Wiota Township for a medical emergency. Rural Medical and a deputy also responded.
♦ Belmont EMS responded at 9:36 p.m. to South Penn Street in Belmont for a medical emergency. Belmont Police assisted.
