Dorothy M. Munz, age 86 of Monroe, Wisconsin, left to be with her Lord Friday, March 21, 2014. She was born on May 31, 1927 in Wiota Township, WI the daughter of Harry & Estella (Thompson) Brown and graduated from Darlington High School.
Dorothy married Otto Munz, Jr. on June 20, 1945 at Wiota, WI and were Cheesemakers, who retired to be farmers. Dorothy enjoyed feeding all the hired help, as well as any friends or family who happened by. She was a member of Mt. Olive Evangelical Lutheran Church, enjoyed flowers, birds, playing cards with family & friends, spending time at her cabin, and her greatest love was her Lord & family.
She is survived by daughters, Judy (Jim) Boisen of Minong, WI & Tammy (Mike Para) Stephens of Browntown, WI; grandchildren, Jenny (Mike) Remiker, Brad Munz, Jay Gierhart, Corey Gierhart, & Jessi Stephens; and 3 Great-Grandchildren. She was predeceased by her Parents; Husband, Otto; daughter, Linda Alderman; grandchildren, Joshua & Jolene Boisen; and sister, Norma Anderson; and brother, Merle Brown.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 24, 2014 at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home 1455 Mansion Drive & N. 18th Avenue in Monroe with Pastor Donald Swartz officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Monroe.
Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. Tuesday until time of service at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
