BROOKLYN - Connie L. Harry, age 56, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at home. She was born on November 24, 1953 the daughter of Emil and Margaret (Murphy) Zilliox. She was a graduate of Albany High School in 1972. Connie married Leon Harry on September 6, 1975 at the Congregational United Church of Christ in Evansville. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards and was known for her baking. She loved her family and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Leon of Brooklyn; a son, Dan Harry of Brooklyn; two daughters, Tammy (Glenn) Garfoot of Monticello, Tina (Jerry) Heinle of Orfordville; sisters, Sharon (Darrell) King of Brodhead, Gayle (Lee) Nickols of Milton, Cheryl Dillard of Dacola, Georgia, Penny (Bob) Monte of Milton, Lori Zilliox of Darlington; a brother, Daryl (Carol) Zilliox of Janesville; mother and father in-law, Gilman (Hattie) Harry of Brooklyn; grandchildren, Shaliko, Shyann Harry, Richard Nash, Cody Garfoot, Morgan and Evan Heinle; several nieces, nephews and very close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, a brother Larry, two sisters Vickie and Kathy.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at the Congregational Church of Christ in Evansville with Reverend Dr. Luke Bocher officiating. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service at church. Burial will be held at a later date in Jugg Prairie Cemetery, Brooklyn Township, Green County. Ward Funeral Home, Evansville, is assisting the family.
