BELLEVILLE - Bryon E. Riese, age 53, of rural Belleville passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Select Specialty Hospital in Madison. He was born on December 19, 1963 in Monroe to his parents Edward and Donna (Koller) Riese. Bryon graduated from Monticello High School in 1982 and then graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Farm and Industry Short Course. On July 6, 2002 he was united in marriage to Lynda DeHaan at the Rock River Threshermen's Park. Bryon was a farmer, but his avocation and passion was collecting and restoring antique tractors and engines. He had the ability to diagnose problems with a motor by ear. He was a lifelong member of the Rock River Thresheree and was proud to have attended his first before he was born. Bryon was also a member of the Washington Reformation Church.
Bryon is survived by his wife Lynda Riese of Belleville, WI, daughter Emma Rose Riese, mother Donna Riese of Monticello, WI, brother David (Sandy) Riese of Chattanooga, TN, and sister Kris (Clair Coleman) Peterson of Holmen, WI. He is further survived by one uncle J.F. Koller and one cousin Cherilyn (Derek) Frank.
He was preceded in death by his father Ed, mother-in-law Judy DeHaan, and cousin Brenda Daino.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the Washington Reformation Church, N6026 Church Rd., Monticello, WI with Pastor Mary Gafner officiating.
A gathering of relatives and friends will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 29, 2017 at the Washington Reformation Church.
A memorial fund has been established.
