DARLINGTON — On Thursday, Sept. 20:

•  Livestock in the roadway was reported at 1:03 a.m. on County Z, Town of Darlington.

•  A 911 misdial was reported at 1:10 a.m. on County F, Town of Fayette.

•  A deputy responded to unlock a vehicle at 7:45 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington.

•  A deputy responded for a medical emergency at 8:47 a.m. on Pickanax Street in Shullsburg.

•  Deputies assisted Darlington police with an alarm at 9:09 a.m. on Center Hill Road in the city.

•  A deputy responded for a welfare check at 1:19 p.m. on County Q, Town of Seymour.

•  Lindsey E. Lee, 37, Shullsburg, was arrested and jailed at 2:04 p.m. for a probation violation.

•  A traffic complaint was reported at 4:38 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Wayne.

•  A deputy responded to unlock a vehicle at 8:21 p.m. on West Water Street in Shullsburg.

•  Colby J. Argall, 17, South Wayne, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 10:08 p.m. on County J in Benton.

•  Sarah Vacval, 17, Elizabeth, Illinois, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 11:08 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of New Diggings.

On Friday, Sept. 21:

•  Deputies responded to assist the Darlington Police Department with a residential alarm at 12:10 a.m. on Fayette Road in the city.

•  An animal problem was reported at 4:06 a.m. on East Pleasant Street in South Wayne.

•  A 911 misdial was reported at 4:58 a.m. on County J, Town of Benton.

•  A deputy came across a disabled vehicle at 11:59 a.m. on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.

•  An animal problem was reported at 12:14 p.m. on West Center Street in South Wayne.

•  An ATV complaint was reported at 4:11 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs.

•  Suspicious activity was reported at 7:01 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Gratiot.

•  A deputy came across a disabled vehicle at 8:35 p.m. on County O, Town of Shullsburg.

On Saturday, Sept. 22:

•  A deputy assisted the Cuba City Police Department with a traffic stop at 12:22 a.m. on Roaster Road, Town of Benton.

•  Shawn M. Ryan, 35, Shullsburg, was arrested on a charge of bail jumping after deputies responded to a complaint of harassment at 9:21 a.m. on Pecatonica Road, Town of Wiota. Ryan was taken to jail and later released on a cash bond.

•  An animal problem was reported at 10:21 a.m. on Roller Coaster Road, Town of Darlington.

•  A deputy responded for a welfare check at 1:48 p.m. on Main Street in Gratiot.

•  A deputy assisted the Platteville Police Department at 1:51 p.m. on East High Street in Shullsburg.

•  An ATV complaint was reported at 4:52 p.m. on County I, Town of New Diggings.

•  Mitchell R.J. Ivanov, 45, Hazel Green, was arrested on a charge of driving with a revoked license at 6:01 p.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont. He was taken to the jail, booked and released.

•  Darci R. McGrath, 20, Shullsburg, was cited for speeding at 6:18 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

•  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 6:19 p.m. on Johnson Road, Town of Shullsburg.

•  A traffic hazard was reported at 7:22 p.m. on County K, Town of Gratiot.

•  A deputy assisted the Benton Police Department with a disorderly conduct complaint at 8:23 p.m. on 2nd Street in Benton.

•  A male juvenile was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 8:59 p.m. on County B, Town of Belmont.

•  An erratic driver was reported at 9:32 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne.

•  John C. Widule, 49, Mokena, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 10:13 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

•  Shawn M. Ryan, 35, Shullsburg, was cited for failure to notify the DMV of an address change and for driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 11:40 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg.

On Sunday, Sept. 23:

•  Gary J. Ehrhardt, 47, Rockford, Illinois, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 12:16 a.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Gratiot.

•  A deputy responded for a welfare check at 4:05 a.m. on Wis. 11 in Gratiot. Gratiot First Response and Green County EMS, Darlington, assisted on scene.

•  An erratic driver was reported at 5:51 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne.

•  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 10:44 a.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs.

•  An animal injured on the roadway was reported at 3:07 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne.

•  Morgan K. Krupke, 20, Warren, was cited for speeding at 3:31 p.m. on County W, Town of White Oak Springs.

•  Luz M. Torres, 28, Berwyn, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 4:15 p.m. on County W, Town of White Oak Springs.

•  Barbara C. Schubert, 52, Lena, was cited for speeding at 4:55 p.m. on County W, Town of White Oak Springs.

•  Deepak Nema, 40, Schaumburg, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 5:39 p.m. on County W, Town of Monticello.

•  A deputy responded to control traffic at 3:27 p.m. on English Hollow Road, Town of Fayette.

•  David E. Chambers, 60, Darlington, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 4:37 p.m. on Fort Defiance Road, Town of Fayette.

•  A traffic complaint was reported at 5:15 p.m. on Roller Coaster Road, Town of Darlington.

•  A civil dispute was reported at 6:21 p.m. on North Street in Argyle.

•  Suspicious activity was reported at 6:58 p.m. on Carlyle Drive in Belmont.

•  A deputy and Benton police assisted the Cuba City Police Department with an attempted warrant pickup at 8:11 p.m. on Jones Place in Cuba City.

•  A deputy assisted Belmont police at 11 p.m. on Bethel Grove Road, Town of Belmont. A Grant County deputy also assisted.

On Tuesday, Sept. 25:

•  Harassment was reported at 11:39 a.m. on Meylor Lane, Town of Willow Springs.

•  Deputies responded for a welfare check at 1:15 p.m. on Swanson Road, Town of Wayne.

•  A traffic hazard was reported at 6:02 p.m. on County DD, Town of Gratiot.

•  Suspicious activity was reported at 6:56 p.m. on Bethel Grove Road, Town of Belmont.

•  Mikayla L. Wedige, 24, Cuba City, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 7:03 p.m. on Silverthorn Road, Town of Shullsburg.

•  Joey G. Timmerman, 44, Monroe, was cited for speeding at 7:28 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

•  Wayne W. Cichon, 51, Beloit, was cited for speeding at 8:07 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

On Wednesday, Sept. 26:

•  A deputy assisted the Grant County Sheriff’s Department in Grant County at 2:37 a.m.

•  A traffic hazard of debris on the roadway was reported at 6:03 a.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Kendall.

•  A traffic complaint was reported at 6:39 a.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont.

•  An injured animal was reported at 7:33 a.m. on Larse Road, Town of Wayne.

•  An injured animal was reported at 9:40 a.m. on County O, Town of Kendall.

•  A deputy responded for a welfare check at 1:18 p.m. on Sheffer Lane, Town of New Diggings.

•  A traffic complaint was reported at 1:45 p.m. on Wis. 23 in Darlington.

•  A domestic dispute was reported at 2:27 p.m. on North Van Buren Street in Benton. The Grant County Sheriff’s Department, Hazel Green Police Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol assisted a deputy in the response.

•  A deputy came upon a disabled vehicle at 5:10 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington.

•  Harassment was reported at 5:23 p.m. on Railroad Avenue in Benton.

•  Jessica M. Aultman, 27, Benton, was cited for driving with a suspended license and no vehicle insurance at 7:38 p.m. on West Mound Road, Town of Belmont.

•  William R. Rees, 75, Shullsburg, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign and operating without required headlamps lit at 8:15 p.m. on County B and West Mound Road, Town of Belmont.


Darlington Police

DARLINGTON —On Thursday, Sept. 20:

•  June S.R. Culbert, 22, Shullsburg, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 3:34 a.m. on Ohio Street.

•  Chad J. Berget, 43, Argyle, was arrested and jailed on a charge of operating while intoxicated at about 4 p.m. on Washington Street. A Class G felony charge of fifth or sixth-offense OWI was filed the next day against Berget in Lafayette County Circuit Court. His signature bond is set at $3,000 with conditions that he not drink or go into bars or liquor stores.

•  Zackary Socha, 18, Darlington, was cited for disorderly conduct following an investigation Friday, Sept. 21, at the Darlington High School. 

•  A 15-year-old Darlington girl was cited for disorderly conduct Saturday, Sept. 22, following an investigation on Kennedy Drive.

•  Matthew Gagnon, 22, Crystal Lake, Illinois, was cited for speeding on Wisconsin 23 at about 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26.

•  Silverio Sanchez-Ochoa, 33, Darlington, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and battery at 6:55 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, following a domestic disturbance at a residence on Division Street. Lafayette County deputies assisted. Sanchez-Ochoa was taken to jail, where he posted bond and was released.

•  Ana G. Garcia-Diaz, 29, Darlington, was arrested on a valid warrant following contact at the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office lobby at 1:50 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 27.


Monroe Police

MONROE — Austin D. Flood, 22, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of possessing a hazardous substance with intent to abuse that substance after police were alerted to suspicious activity at the Short Stop Phillips 66 gas station at 317 8th St. at 8:01 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25. Flood was seen staggering and going in and out of a bathroom accessed from outside the station. Police located a can of air duster on Flood. He was jailed pending court.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — Richard E. Thompson, 53, Monroe, was arrested at a residence in the N900 block of Haddinger Road, Town of Clarno, at 9:16 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, on warrants issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections for a probation violation and by the Monroe Police Department. He was jailed.
