Monroe Police

MONROE — Kayla R. Solberger, 33, Monroe, was arrested on charges of possessing cocaine and drug paraphernalia after officers responded to a 911 call for an unknown issue at a residence in the 1000 block of 4th Avenue West at 4:49 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 5. She was jailed.

●  Janelle L. Koehler, 34, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct under Wisconsin’s domestic violence provisions after officers responded for a report of a disturbance at a residence in the 2000 block of 7th Street at 2:53 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8. She was booked and released pending court.


Albany Police

ALBANY — Jennifer L. Heironimus, 62, Albany, was cited for selling tobacco to minors Friday, Aug. 27.

●  Mason J. Kelly, 18, Poynette, was cited for underage drinking Sunday, Sept. 1.

On Monday, Sept. 2:

●  Mitchell S. Beard, 24, Madison, was cited for urinating in public.

●  Erik Willem Jockin Aasted, 21, San Diego, California, was cited for urinating in public.

●  Genevieve M. Fuhrman, 22, Middleton, was cited for non-registration of a vehicle.

On Friday, Sept. 6:

●  Heather L. Detra, 34, Brodhead, was cited for non-registration of an auto.

●  Alfonso Alvarez, 52, Richland Center, was cited for driving without a valid license.

On Saturday, Sept. 7:

●  Dale L. Finley, 38, Albany, was arrested for a probation violation and on charges of battery and disorderly conduct.

On Sunday, Sept. 8:

●  Phillip W. Johnson, 45, Brooklyn, was cited for operating a motor vehicle without insurance.


Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD — For the week of Aug. 25-31, police performed 56 security checks, 32 citizen assists, 10 assists of other agencies, 29 vehicle registrations and five follow-ups to incidents; responded to 39 calls for service, seven EMS calls and 17 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls; and made 11 traffic stops. No fire calls and no detox or mental health transports were reported.

On Sunday, Aug. 25:

●  A Brodhead man, 25, was cited for operating a motorcycle without a valid license at 9:56 a.m. in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue.

●  A code violation of unmowed grass was reported at 3:02 p.m. in the 600 block of East Exchange Street. A warning was issued.

On Monday, Aug. 26:

●  Vandalism was reported at 9:07 p.m. in the 300 block of 23rd Street. Someone had spray-painted a building. The matter remained under investigation.

On Tuesday, Aug. 27:

●  A vehicle off the heavy truck route was reported at 7:28 p.m. in the 100 block of East 4th Avenue. A warning was issued.

●  A Juda man, 35, was cited for non-registration of an auto and no motor vehicle liability insurance at 8:22 p.m. in the 100 block of East 9th Avenue.

On Wednesday, Aug. 28:

●  A Brodhead man, 32, was cited for driving with a suspended license and speeding at 5:09 a.m. in the 600 block of 1st Street.

●  Damage to a stop sign was reported at 12:17 p.m. in the 900 block of East 9th Avenue. It remained under investigation.

●  Damage to a mailbox was reported at 5:45 p.m. in the N400 block of East 2nd Avenue. It remained under investigation.

●  A Brodhead woman, 23, was arrested on a domestic abuse-related charge of disorderly conduct at 9:18 p.m. in the 600 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On Thursday, Aug. 29:

●  A Brodhead woman, 31, was cited for failure to yield causing bodily harm at 7:29 a.m. following a traffic crash in the 600 block of 6th Street.

●  A fireworks violation was reported at 10:32 p.m. in the 2000 block of West 9th Avenue. Police checked the area but no violation was located.

On Friday, Aug. 30:

●  A South Beloit, Illinois woman, 38, was arrested on a charge of attempting to possess a controlled substance at 11:39 a.m. in the 1000 block of 1st Center Avenue.

●  Trespassing was reported at 4:28 p.m. in the 2000 block of West 9th Avenue. It remained under investigation.

●  A Newton, Iowa woman, 48, was cited for speeding at 6:16 p.m. in the 600 block of 1st Street.

●  An Albany man, 33, was cited for driving with a suspended license and no motor vehicle liability insurance at 10:53 p.m. in the 1700 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On Saturday, Aug. 31:

●  A barking dog was reported at 8:18 p.m. in the 1400 block of East 3rd Avenue. The owner was warned.

●  A vehicle parked left of center facing traffic was reported at 8:43 p.m. in the 800 block of East 7th Avenue. A warning was issued.

For the week of Sept. 1-7, police performed 59 security checks, 54 citizen assists, eight assists of other agencies, 15 vehicle registrations and three follow-ups to incidents; responded to 19 calls for service, three EMS calls, one fire call and nine 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls; and made 20 traffic stops. One detox transport and no mental health transports were reported.

On Sunday, Sept. 1:

●  A Brodhead man, 26, was cited for outside consumption of alcohol at 4:17 a.m. in the 1200 block of 1st Center Avenue.

●  A dog that bit another dog was reported at 7:47 a.m. in the 500 block of 4th Street. The issue was resolved between the owners.

●  Two Brodhead men, ages 17 and 19, were warned for an ATV violation at 5:50 p.m. in the 400 block of 6th Street.

On Monday, Sept. 2:

●  Grass mowed into the street was reported at 9:36 a.m. in the 300 block of East 6th Avenue. Police made contact, and the issue was resolved.

●  A Verona woman, 45, was cited for speeding at 4:01 p.m. in the 100 block of East 9th Avenue.

●  A Rockford, Illinois man, 27, was cited for speeding at 4:15 p.m. in the 600 block of East 9th Avenue.

●  A Stoughton man, 36, was cited for speeding at 6:03 p.m. in the 100 block of East 9th Avenue.

●  Vandalism was reported at 8:21 p.m. in the 400 block of West 3rd Avenue. The call was turned over to the Brodhead Parks and Recreation Department.

On Wednesday, Sept. 4:

●  A vehicle traveling all over the roadway was reported at 8:16 p.m. in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police located the vehicle and warned the driver.

On Thursday, Sept. 5:

●  A suspicious person running in the area was reported at 11:30 p.m. in the 400 block of 10th Street. The subject was not located with extra patrol in the area.

●  A code violation of a vehicle on jack stands was reported at 12:25 p.m. in the 100 block of East 9th Avenue. The matter remained under investigation.

●  A gas drive-off was reported at 4:48 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. It was an oversight, and the driver returned to take care of payment.

●  A Beloit woman, 46, was cited for non-registration of an auto at 9:12 p.m. in the 100 block fo 23rd Street.

On Saturday, Sept. 7:

●  A Brodhead man, 37, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct at 7:24 p.m. in the 1000 block of 21st Street.


Darlington Police

DARLINGTON — Michael Bello, 37, Darlington, was cited for harassment following an investigation into an incident at a residence on Main Street at 12:47 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 25.

●  Jared Boehmke, 28, Gays Mills, was cited for speeding on Wis. 23 at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28.

●  Arienne Wehinger, 20, Brodhead, was cited for display of power at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, following a traffic complaint on Ann Street.

●  Alan J. Corley, 35, Darlington, was cited for non-registration of an auto on Hill Street at 11:29 a.m. Friday, Aug. 30.

●  Julian De La Cruz Martinez, 34, Darlington, was arrested on a charge of driving with a revoked license on Main Street at 9:12 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 1. He was booked into the jail, then released after posting bond.

●  Henrry D. Garciaz-Ordonez, 19, Darlington, was arrested on a warrant during a traffic stop on Washington Street at 3:12 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1. He was also cited for driving without a valid license and transporting intoxicants in a motor vehicle as an underage person. He was jailed pending bond.

On Saturday, Aug. 31:

●  Sara K. Reuter, 31, Darlington, was referred to the Lafayette County District Attorney’s Office for charges of driving with a revoked license and failing to install an ignition interlock device, following a traffic stop at about 1:10 a.m. on Ohio Street. She was also cited for operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

●  Delmar F. Moradel-Hernandez, 23, Darlington, was referred to the Lafayette County District Attorney’s Office for a second-offense charge of driving without a valid license, following a traffic stop at about 1:35 a.m. on West Catherine Street. He was also cited for operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

On Monday, Sept. 2:

●  Samantha Gathof, 26, Beloit, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 10:35 a.m. on Wis. 23.

● Aiden McGuire, 16, Darlington, was cited for texting and driving following a traffic stop at about 3:40 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, on Center Hill Road.

●  Two 15-year-old girls were cited at Darlington High School for underage possession of tobacco products (vaping devices) at 2:40 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4.

●  Brandon Aide, 28, Mineral Point, was issued two citations for worthless checks and Samantha Mittlestadt, 29, Mineral Point, was issued one citation for worthless checks at about 11:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 6, following complaints of separate violations on previous dates at Subway, 191 Christensen Dr.

●  Bradyn A. Mesch, 18, Shullsburg, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 7:21 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, following a traffic stop on Wis. 23.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — Cody L. Faith, 20, Browntown, was arrested on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections probation hold at the Green County Probation and Parole Office in Monroe at 4:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30. He was jailed.

●  Alexander J. Falk, 33, Madison, was cited for driving with a revoked license (fourth offense) and speeding in the N9300 block of Wis. 69, Town of New Glarus, at 5:46 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31.

●  Margaretanne Kolacek, 50, Monroe, was arrested on a third-offense charge of operating with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration following a traffic stop in the W2500 block of Wis. 11, Town of Jefferson, at 8:37 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1. She was also cited for driving without a valid license, tampering with or failing to install an ignition interlock device and operating a motor vehicle without insurance. She was jailed pending bond or an initial court appearance.

●  Nicholas J. Roth, 39, Albany, was arrested on domestic abuse-related charges of disorderly conduct, battery and criminal damage to property after deputies responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the N6500 block of County X, Town of Albany, at 10:10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4. He was jailed pending court.

On Friday, Sept. 6:

●  Nicholas W. Johnson, 25, Monroe, was arrested on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections probation hold at 4:17 p.m. at the Green County Probation and Parole Office in Monroe. He was jailed.

● Derek W. Luchsinger, 30, Monticello, was cited for driving without a commercial driver’s license after deputies stopped a semi-tractor trailer unit for an equipment violation at 6:02 p.m. in the N3600 block of County N, Town of Monroe.

On Sunday, Sept. 8:

●  Deputies responded at 1:32 a.m. to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the 500 block of 5th Avenue in New Glarus. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Tiffany J. French, 31, Belleville, on a charge of disorderly conduct. She was taken to the jail and later released after bond was posted. In addition, Jason J. Jindra, 30, New Glarus, was cited for disorderly conduct. Deputies were then called back to the home at 3:06 a.m. for another reported disturbance, and as a result, Jindra was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct. He was jailed pending court. Monticello police assisted on scene.

●  Matthew A. Fisher, 37, Browntown, was cited for disorderly conduct after deputies responded at 11:34 a.m. to a report of a disturbance at a residence in Browntown.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Friday, Aug. 30:

●  Deputies responded to check welfare at 12:05 a.m. on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg.

●  Johnathon D. Ferry, 19, Monroe, was cited during a traffic stop at 2:23 a.m. on County M, Town of Wiota, for possession of open intoxicants in a vehicle, transporting intoxicants as an underage person, underage possession of alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia. His passengers, Alexander K. Schneeberger, 19, and Samantha J. S. Goodman, 19, both of Monroe, were cited for underage drinking and possession of open intoxicants in a vehicle.

●  A noise complaint was reported at 6:30 a.m. on South Sidney Street in Shullsburg.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 4:51 p.m. on Jennings Road, Town of Wiota.

●  A deputy came upon livestock on the roadway at 6:58 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Gratiot.

●  A deputy came upon a disabled vehicle at 8:47 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

●  A deputy came upon a disabled vehicle at 9:01 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Gratiot.

●  Hayley H. Jones, 26, Madison, was arrested on charges of felony bail jumping, disorderly conduct and resisting an officer after a deputy responded to assist the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources at 9:59 p.m. on Lake Road, Town of Fayette. Darlington police assisted.

On Saturday, Aug. 31:

●  Rene Argueta-Alvarez, 59, Darlington, was arrested and jailed on domestic abuse-related charges of battery and disorderly conduct after deputies responded at 1:12 a.m. to a disorderly conduct complaint on County K, Town of Darlington. Green County EMS of Darlington assisted on scene.

●  A utility problem was reported at 10:34 a.m. on Gibson Street in Benton. The Benton Fire Department and Benton First Response assisted a deputy on scene.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 11:32 a.m. on Trotter Lane, Town of Argyle.

●  Trespassing was reported at 2 p.m. on South Galena Street in South Wayne.

●  A deputy responded to unlock a vehicle at 2:03 p.m. on East High Street in Shullsburg.

●  Theft was reported at 2:07 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Argyle.

●  A disabled vehicle was reported at 3:49 p.m. on County M, Town of Wiota.

●  Deputies responded to unlock a vehicle at 3:53 p.m. on Walnut Street in Belmont.

●  An animal complaint was reported at 4:31 p.m. on Short Cut Road, Town of Willow Springs.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 5:20 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

●  Deputies responded to check welfare at 10:26 p.m. on County I, Town of New Diggings.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 10:31 p.m. on Bethel Grove Road, Town of Belmont.

●  Disorderly conduct was reported at 11:45 p.m. on Lake Joy Lane, Town of Belmont.

●  Pedro Hernandez-Miranda, 24, Darlington, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop at 2:18 a.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Shullsburg. He was also cited for driving without a valid license. He was transported to the jail, where he was released to a responsible party.

●  A gas drive-off was reported at 12:06 p.m. on Miner Way in Shullsburg.

●  Aaron N. Coley, 20, Darlington, was arrested and jailed on a Lafayette County warrant after a deputy responded to a traffic complaint at 12:23 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.

●  A disabled vehicle was reported at 1:43 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

●  Josephine M. Regan, 55, Hickory Hills, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 6:16 p.m. on County P, Town of Monticello.

●  An animal problem was reported at 6:22 p.m. on County F, Town of Darlington. Darlington police assisted.

●  Shaedyn M. Lane-Majerus, 18, Cuba City, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance at 7:02 p.m. on County J, Town of Benton.

●  Adam J. Leather, 28, Shullsburg, was arrested on a Lafayette County warrant and on a charge of driving with a revoked license after deputies responded at 7:19 p.m. for a welfare check on West Water Street in Shullsburg. Leather was transported to the jail, where he posted bond and was released.

●  An animal bite was reported at 9:27 p.m. on East Main Street in Benton.

On Monday, Sept. 2:

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 1:15 a.m. on Lake Road, Town of Blanchard.

●  A deputy came across a disabled vehicle at 3:14 a.m. on Wis. 126, Town of Elk Grove.

●  A civil dispute was reported at 5:59 a.m. on County F, Town of Blanchard.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 7:28 a.m. on Mates Avenue in Belmont.

●  Disorderly conduct was reported at 9:19 a.m. on County Y, Town of Argyle.

●  Ashley A. Kent, 27, Warren, was cited for operating an ATV without a valid certificate at 12:20 p.m. on Main Street, Town of Gratiot.

●  Suspicious activity was reported at 12:40 p.m. on County D, Town of Wayne.

●  Leroy S. Mann, 67, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was cited for speeding at 6:20 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.

●  A domestic dispute was reported at 7:36 p.m. on County J in Benton.

●  An animal running at large was reported at 9:14 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Willow Springs.

●  Deputies responded to check welfare at 9:57 p.m. on County J in Benton.

●  Joann M. Kohl, 66, Shullsburg, was arrested and jailed on a warrant after deputies responded at 10:06 p.m. to East Water Street in Shullsburg for a parking complaint.
