Darlington Police

DARLINGTON — Miranda L. Rebout, 42, Darlington, was cited for allowing a passenger to not wear a seatbelt at about 4:15 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, following a traffic stop on Spring Street.

●  Angela J. Olson, 50, Darlington, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated at 1:33 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 26, following a traffic stop on East Lucy Street. She was also cited for operating left of center and not having vehicle insurance. She was released to a responsible party.


Monroe Police

MONROE — Shawna L. Osbaugh, 38, Monroe, was arrested in the 700 block of 8th Avenue at 1:28 a.m. Monday, Jan. 27, on an arrest warrant for failure to appear in court on a prior citation issued by Monroe police for contributing to truancy. An officer checking an improper vehicle registration discovered the warrant. Osbaugh posted the required bail and was released pending court.

●  Officers responded at 10:59 p.m. to a hit-and-run crash in the 700 block of 18th Avenue. A southbound vehicle had struck a legally parked vehicle, causing substantial damage. While officers were still on scene, the driver of the offending vehicle, Thomas C. Krieger, 46, Monroe, returned on foot. He was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated and cited for inattentive driving and hit-and-run on an unattended vehicle. He was released pending court.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — Candis K. Corning, 32, Monticello, was arrested on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections probation hold at 4:25 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, at the Green County Probation and Parole Office. She was jailed. Court records indicate she was cited the same day for contributing to truancy.

●  Michele R. Crawford, 47, Belleville, was arrested and jailed on a felony charge of physical abuse of child after deputies responded for a report of a disturbance at 12:57 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, at a residence in the W4000 block of Pine Valley Road, Town of Exeter. The charge stems from an altercation that became physical with a 16-year-old girl. No medical attention was provided. The case remained under investigation.

On Wednesday, Jan. 29:

●  At about 11:40 a.m., deputies began investigating a report of harassing phone calls and discovered David B. Waage, 66, Monroe, called multiple Green County employees and threatened them with physical harm. Waage was located in Monroe and arrested on a charge of unlawful use of a telephone to make threats of physical harm. He was jailed pending court.

●  Derek E. Gobeli, 33, New Glarus, was arrested on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections probation hold at 1:08 p.m. at the Green County Probation and Parole Office. He was jailed.

On Thursday, Jan. 30:

●  Otoniel Silvestre Marcelo, 23, Milwaukee, was cited for driving without a valid license (third offense, a traffic crime) and failure to obey a traffic sign in a construction zone after deputies stopped him at 5:14 a.m. at Wis. 11 and County KK, Town of Sylvester.

●  Justin D. Halvorson, 31, Juda, was arrested on one count of battery and two counts of disorderly conduct, all domestic abuse-related, after deputies responded at 3:51 p.m. to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the N2300 block fo Spring Street, Town of Jefferson. He was jailed pending court or the posting of bond.

On Friday, Jan. 31:

●  Three people were arrested on Wisconsin Department of Corrections probation holds at the Green County Probation and Parole Office: Matthew G. Tweed, 40, Belleville, at 10:09 a.m.; David Mendez, 52, Monroe, at 12:20 p.m.; and Joseph C. Karalis, 54, Monroe, at 3:57 p.m. All three were jailed.

●  Donald T. D. Pitman, 21, Albany, was arrested on three counts of felony bail jumping at 10:15 a.m. in the 400 block of Cincinnati Street in Albany. He was jailed pending court. The arrest stemmed from a tip the sheriff’s office received via Green County Crime Stoppers.

DARLINGTON — On Sunday, Jan. 19:

●  A deputy responded to unlock a vehicle at 5:28 p.m. on West Mound View Avenue in Belmont.

On Monday, Jan. 20:

●  Deputies responded for a vehicle in the ditch at 2:28 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington. The driver, Oscar R. Ortez-Murillo, 28, Darlington, was cited for operating while intoxicated and later released to a responsible party. The passenger, Emerson Y. Argueta-Gutierres, 17, Darlington, was cited for underage drinking.

●  A deputy responded at 6:34 a.m. to Main Street in Darlington to assist Darlington police with a suspicious vehicle complaint.

●  An erratic driver was reported at 9:16 a.m. on Mitchell Hollow Road, Town of Belmont.

●  An animal injured in the roadway was reported at 3:29 p.m. on County Shop Road, Town of Darlington.

●  Lacey F. Leifker, 28, Shullsburg, was arrested by the Iowa County Sheriff’s Office on two warrants for failure to appear in court and transported at 6:13 p.m. from the Iowa County Jail to the Lafayette County Jail, where she remained in custody.

On Tuesday, Jan. 21:

●  Jaymeson A. Davenport, 19, Shullsburg, was arrested on charges of battery or threats to law enforcement, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct after deputies responded at 6:07 a.m. to West Harrison Street in Shullsburg for a disorderly conduct complaint. He was jailed.

●  A hit-and-run was reported at 8:07 a.m. on Garden Street in Shullsburg.

●  Disorderly conduct was reported at 9 a.m. on Garden Street in Shullsburg.

●  A disabled vehicle blocking the roadway was reported at 10:16 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Seymour.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 6:14 p.m. on Galena Street in Argyle.

●  A deputy responded at 10:16 p.m. to Miner Way in Shullsburg for a commercial alarm.

On Wednesday, Jan. 22:

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 12:52 a.m. on County F, Town of Willow Springs.

●  Thomas W. Yeoman, 70, Monticello, Iowa, was cited for speeding at 12:14 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.

●  An animal problem was reported at 3:31 p.m. on Jennings Road, Town of Benton.

●  Kyle L. Gilbertson, 18, Argyle, was arrested and jailed on a charge of bail jumping after a deputy responded at 10:21 p.m. to Third Street in Argyle for a disabled vehicle.

On Thursday, Jan. 23:

●  A parking problem was reported at 7:12 a.m. on West Center Street in South Wayne.

●  Daniel F. Baumgartner, 33, Shullsburg, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct and Tasia M. Warren, 32, Shullsburg, was arrested on a Green County bench warrant for contempt of court in a family case after deputies responded at 10:48 a.m. to North Judgement Street in Shullsburg for a report of disorderly conduct. Baumgartner was booked at the jail and posted bond. Warren was transported to the Green County Jail.

●  A deputy responded to unlock a vehicle at 1:50 p.m. on Ames Road, Town of Darlington.

●  An animal problem was reported at 1:56 p.m. on County J, Town of Benton.

●  A traffic complaint was reported at 3:11 p.m. on West Main Street in Benton.

●  Lori A. Bordner, 52, Shullsburg, was arrested at 4:07 p.m. on a warrant for failure to pay a fine and brought to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office, where she posted bond.

●  A traffic complaint was reported at 4:50 p.m. on Old Q Road, Town of Argyle.

●  Richard J. Coulthard, 48, Belmont, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 9:27 p.m. on County H, Town of Elk Grove.

On Friday, Jan. 24:

●  A deputy responded to keep the peace at 8:18 a.m. on Ollie Bell Road, Town of Benton.

●  Joel E. Peters, 43, Darlington, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 7:37 p.m. on Hill Street, Town of Darlington.

●  An animal injured in the roadway was reported at 9:11 p.m. on County G, Town of Belmont.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 9:42 p.m. on County D, Town of Argyle.

●  Fraud was reported at 10:31 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington.

●  Julie L. Henderson, aka Julie L. Stillmunkes, 42, Dubuque, Iowa, was arrested and jailed on a third-offense charge of operating while intoxicated after a deputy responded at 8:17 a.m. to U.S. 151, Town of Willow Springs, to assist the Wisconsin State Patrol with a traffic stop. She was also arrested on a extraditable warrant out of Indiana.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 8:24 a.m. on Stub Lane, Town of Darlington.

●  A deputy responded to assist with traffic control at 10:37 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

●  An erratic driver was reported at 1:05 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

●  A deputy responded to assist with unlocking a vehicle at 4:16 p.m. on Colfax Street in Argyle.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 4:18 p.m. on Park Street in Benton.

●  A disabled vehicle was reported at 5:04 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne.

●  Tracy A. Weber, 57, Cuba City, was cited for speeding at 5:30 p.m. on County W, Town of Shullsburg.

●  A deputy responded at 10:20 p.m. to Miner Way in Shullsburg to assist Shullsburg police with a suspicious person complaint.
