Monroe Police

MONROE — On Aug. 7

•  Neil P. Husom, 27, Monroe, was arrested on warrants at 1:52 p.m. in the 300 block of 6th Avenue West. Husom had warrants through the Dane County Sheriffs’ Office, the Green County Sheriffs’ Office, Department of Corrections, as well as the Monroe Police Department. As a result of the arrest, Husom was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Husom was confined to the Green county Jail.

MONROE — On Aug. 8:

•  Deputies stopped a milk truck in at 3:40 p.m. in the N2300 block of Richland Road in Jefferson. Investigation resulted in the driver, Eric G. Peterson, 52, Blanchardville, being cited for operating a commercial motor vehicle without a valid CDL. Peterson was released pending court. 

•  Domestic abuse was reported at 10:11 p.m. in the W100 block of County C in Brooklyn. Eulalio Pineda Perez, 44, Brooklyn, was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct. He was held at the Green County Jail pending bond or court.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Aug. 3: 

•  An injured deer in the roadway was reported at 5:54 a.m. on Wisconsin 81 in Argyle Township.

•  A deputy responded to an alarm at 9 a.m. on Dry Bone Road in New Diggings Township.

•  Joe H. Huenefeld, 39, was cited for speeding on County P in Gratiot Township. 

•  A civil dispute was reported at 7:26 p.m. on West Grove Street in South Wayne.

•  A theft was reported at 7:47 p.m. on Cottage Inn Road in Kendall Township.

•  Suspicious activity was reported at 8:07 p.m. on West Wisconsin Avenue in Belmont. 

•  A disabled vehicle was reported at 8:09 p.m. on Wisconsin 81 in Darlington Township.

•  An animal problem was reported at 8:45 p.m. on Whiteside Road in Wiota Township.

On Aug. 4: 

•  Disorderly Conduct was reported at 12:36 a.m. on Woodberry Road in Willow Springs township. Neri A. Ayala-Aleman, 20, Darlington, was arrested for disorderly conduct, substantial battery and strangulation. He was also cited for operating while intoxicated (first offense). Ayala-Aleman was transported to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office where he remains in custody. Rural Medical and Darlington Police assisted. 

•  A deputy assisted Iowa County Sheriff’s Office at 1:29 a.m. on Wisconsin 78 in Iowa County. Blanchardville Police assisted.

•  A domestic dispute was reported at 2:03 a.m. on West Center Street in South Wayne. John R. Argall, 51, South Wayne, was arrested for disorderly conduct and battery. Argall was transported to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office where he was booked and later posted bond. 

•  A noise complaint was reported at 3:39 a.m. on County Y in Wiota Township. 

•  A theft was reported at 6:57 a.m. on East Milwaukee Street in Argyle. 

•  An abandoned vehicle was reported at 11:53 a.m. on Wisconsin 81 in Argyle.

•  A deputy responded at 11:58 to Wisconsin 11 in New Diggings Township for a traffic complaint. 

•  Deputies assisted Monroe Police at 1:43 on Wisconsin 78 in Argyle township. Argyle Fire Department assisted. 

•  Disorderly conduct was reported at 2:48 p.m. on County W in Monticello Township.

•  Daniel S. Clarton, 55, Algonquin, Illinois, was cited for speeding on County W in White Oak Springs Township. 

•  An injured animal was reported at 7:46 p.m. on Wood Street in Belmont. 

•  A deputy assisted Prairie du Chien Police at 10:29 p.m. on County XX in Belmont Township.

•  A deputy responded at 11:12 to a noise complaint on Main Street in Gratiot. 

On Aug. 5:

•  Livestock on the road was reported at 12:56 a.m. on County F in Willow Springs Township. 

•  A hit and run accident was reported at 8:54 a.m. on Wisconsin 78 in Gratiot Township.

•  A disabled vehicle was reported at 1:09 p.m. on Trotter Road in Wiota Township.

•  A deputy responded to an ordinance violation at 4:55 p.m. on West Prospect Street in South Wayne.

•  A deputy responded for a 911 misdial at 5:45 p.m. on County W in New Diggings Township.

•  A vehicle in the ditch was reported at 7:03 p.m. on County W in Gratiot Township.

•  A disabled vehicle was reported at 9 p.m. on Meier Road in Wayne Township.

•  A traffic hazard was reported at 10:24 p.m. on County O in Shullsburg Township.

On Aug. 6:

•  Suspicious activity was reported at 3:18 a.m. on West Mound View Avenue in Belmont. 

•  Livestock on the road was reported at 7:21 a.m. on County M in Wiota. 

n Brian E. Johnson, 32, Argyle, was arrested on a valid probation and parole violation. Deputies responded at 1:20 p.m. Johnson was transported to the Lafayette County Jail where he remains in custody.

•  A theft was reported at 3:58 p.m. on 2nd Avenue in Benton.

•  Brendon G. Werner, 31, Galen, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 7:28 p.m. on County W in White Oak Springs Township.

•  A deputy responded at 8:35 p.m. for a threat to injure complaint. Danielle J.E. Schafer, 28, Livingston, was cited for no proof of insurance.

On Aug. 7:

•  A traffic hazard was reported at 12:32 a.m. on Sale Bard Road in Elk Grove Township.

•  An erratic driver was reported at 1:49 a.m. on Wisconsin 11 in Gratiot Township.

•  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 6:47 a.m. on County F. 

•  Jay J. Mess, 27, Dubuque, Iowa, was arrested at 2:46 p.m. on a valid warrant and was transported to the Lafayette County Jail where he remains in custody.
