On May 6:

● 1:29 p.m. Nicole M. Cowman, 36, Lena IL was arrested on a valid Lafayette County Warrant on E Catherine ST, City of Darlington. Cowman was booked into Lafayette County Jail where she remains.

● 5:07 p.m. A deputy responded to Walnut RD, Darlington Township for a one vehicle accident. Duane S. Johnson, 35, Argyle was operating farm machinery on Walnut RD when he struck the guard rail and bridge. Johnson reported no injuries. Johnson’s farm machinery received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

On May 7:

● 4:50 p.m. A deputy responded to S State ST, Village of Argyle for a hit and run. Chad J. Berget, 50, Cuba City was performing a back maneuver when he struck a parked vehicle. Berget’s 1997 Ford and the 2022 Chevrolet operated by Jordan M. Gilbertson, 34, Monroe received functional damage and were driven from the scene. Berget was cited for Operating Without Proof of Insurance and Hit and Run.

On May 8:

● 4:22 p.m. Deputies, Lafayette County EMS and Darlington Fire responded to CTH K, Darlington Township for a one-vehicle accident. Carlos A. Flores-Castro, 22, Darlington was traveling on CTH K when he lost control and struck a tree. Flores-Castro reported minor injuries. Flores-Castro was cited for Failure to Maintain Control and No Proof of Insurance. Flores-Castro’s 2011 Toyota received disabling damage and towed from the scene. Darlington Police assisted.
