MONROE - Monroe Theatre Guild's upcoming acting class, 'From Page to Stage,' is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 9.
The class is for kids age 10 to 14 and is taught by Dave Bristow. Students will read classic stories and then adapt them for the stage by acting out what they have read. Characters will be developed through voice, movement and actions. Costume pieces and hand props will be introduced to aid in storytelling. Cost is $18 for MTG members, $21 for non-members.
