GC 4-H group competes at Horse Expo, State Gymkhana

WEST ALLIS — Green County 4-H had eight exhibitors attend the 2023 State 4-H Gymkhana Competition and had two exhibitors attend the 2023 State 4-H Horse Expo held at the State Fairgrounds in West Allis. 

Chloe Pulver, Leilah King, Alexis Miller, Hailey Rasmussen, Rebecca Froseth, Hayden Elmer, Madison Melvin, and Molly Shares all attended the State 4-H Gymkhana competition. Hailey Rasmussen had an impressive run winning first place in Poles, Flag Race, Plug, LT Special, and the Key Race events. Chloe Pulver also competed placing third in the Flag Race event. Alexis Miller placed third in the Poles & Plug events. 

Leilah King and Madison Melvin attended the 2023 State 4-H Horse Expo representing Green County 4-H. King received four top ten finishes in Pony Hunt Pleasure, Pony Saddle Seat/Hunt Showmanship, Trail, and Trail in Hand. Melvin received two top ten finished in both Hunter Under Saddle and Western Pleasure.
