SOUTH WAYNE — Black Hawk School District announces that it has received four grants from the Black Hawk Excellence In Education Funds, Spring 2026 Grant Cycle of the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin, Inc.
Awarded grants were Mr. Cory Milz, $3,500 for IXL web based individual learning platforms for 5K-8th grade; Mr. Eric Erickson, $149.29 for the Athlete Mentor Reading Program; Mrs. Cortney Buss, $731.98 for classroom iPad updates; and Ms. Rebecca Neff, $464.14 for exceptional students attending the Champion Games, held in Boscobel each spring.
The Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin is a resource for area nonprofit organizations whose programs and services are working for the betterment of our communities.
Grants from the South Wayne Area Community Fund and Black Hawk Excellence in Education Fund have supported the arts, education, environment, health and human services and historic preservation.
