MONROE - The 46th annual Rock, Gem, Mineral and Fossil Show, sponsored by the Badger Lapidary and Geological Society, will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 9 and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 10 at the Monroe High School, 1600 26th St., Monroe.
The show and parking are both free, but donations are appreciated.
There will be 10 dealers, guest speakers, club displays and demonstrations, a club sales table, hourly door prizes and educational films.
Activities for kids will include gold panning, a fishpond, spinner game, scavenger hunt and a roving rock wizard. Monroe High School students, FCCLA and Monroe High School catering will provide a hot lunch.

April 10, 1:30 p.m., Carlos Peralta, University of Wisconsin-Madison: "Gemology"
April 10, 3 p.m., Doug Moore, University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point: "Agates: Art and Science"
