MONROE — The Monroe Wrestling Club (MWC) had a solid day at the Belmont/Platteville Youth Wrestling Tournament on Sunday, Jan. 16. Sixteen MWC wrestlers competed and MWC took 4th place as a team.

Place finishers were: FIRST PLACE - Dixon Starr (3rd-4th 51-56); Isiah Folk (3rd-4th 60-63); and Forrest Treuthardt (3rd-4th 66-70). SECOND PLACE - Xavier Folk (1st-2nd 45-47); Charles Pfeifer (1st-2nd 61-64); Decklin Doran (1st-2nd 68-72); Jaden Leistiko (7th-8th 105-112); Connor Swindle (7th-8th 161-176); Emily Boss (Girls 3rd-4th 68-72); and Addi Treuthardt (Girls 5th-6th 124-132). THIRD PLACE - Colton Ladwig (3rd-4th 46-51); Kraig Walter (7th-8th 96-103); and Ayden Folk (7th-8th 105-112). FOURTH PLACE - Kieran Ellingson (3rd-4th 58-62); Kaydon Proctor (3rd-4th 73-80); and Jaxson Gobeli (3rd-4th 73-80).
