MONROE - Haley Knauf and Alyssa Knauf from Albany and Tessa Janecke from Orangeville were selected to the 2017-18 Team Wisconsin Girls Hockey teams. Haley Knauf will join the U16 team while Alyssa Knauf and Janecke will play on the U14 team. Team Wisconsin held two elimination tryouts. Based on their performances, all three girls were selected to be on the Tier 1 Team Wisconsin Girls Hockey Team, which will play before and after the regular 2017-18 hockey season. Team Wisconsin plays a highly competitive Tier 1 schedule, playing teams such as Chicago Mission, Madison Capitols, St. Louis Jr. Blues, MN Elite teams, etc.

All three girls played on Monroe Youth Hockey Bantam A team for the past two years. For the 2017-18 season, Haley and Alyssa Knauf will play with Monroe girls on the Rock County Fury High School girls co-op for the regular season. Janecke will play her regular season on the Bantam A team.
