Ritschard, Wolff power East

BENTON - Monticello's Tyler Ritschard and Black Hawk's Michael Wolff combined to score 43 points as the Six Rivers East All-Stars tipped the West 97-95.

Ritschard scored 23 and Wolff scored 20 to lead the East. The East jumped out to a 33-22 first- quarter lead. But the West squad outscored the East 24-14 in the second quarter, to cut their half-time lead to one point.

The West led 70-63 heading into the fourth quarter. The East sealed it by outscoring the West 34-25 in the fourth quarter.

Pecatonica's Tannar Johnson added 12 points, Monticello's Corey McGowan had nine and Argyle's Nate Thomas had eight.

The West was led by Cord Hanson who scored 22 points and Matt Savatski with 17.

In the Six Rivers Conference girls All-Star game the West defeated the East 54-46. Pecatonica's Alisha Esselstein scored a team-high 15 points to lead the East.

The West jumped out to a 14-7 lead and led 28-16 at halftime. The East outscored the West 30-26 in the second half.

Monticello's Taylor Pfeuti, Juda's Alycia Grenzow and Albany's Sydney Bump each added six points. The West was led by Megan White who scored a game-high 19 points.
