ADULT PICKLEBALL

Pickleball is a racquet sport which combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis. The court is just under one third of the area of a tennis court and uses a similar net. The game is played with a hard paddle and a polymer smaller version of a whiffle ball. A pickle ball moves at about one-third the speed of a tennis ball, making this a sport that is more accessible to a wider range of players. The smaller area along with the slower moving ball makes pickleball much easier to play than tennis. Program is held at Parkside School Gym 6:00-9:30pm and fee is $15 for the entire indoor season: October 2021 - April 2022, weather permitting. We supply the pickleballs. It is important to register so that we can monitor class size and adjust the program timing to accommodate for higher participation if necessary.
