Strommen Throws Out First Pitch
Jim Strommen

Pecatonica baseball head coach Jim Strommen threw out the first pitch of the Brewer game Thursday, July 11. The pitch was part of the first Blanchardville Community Day, where over 400 residents tailgated and attended the game.

Milwaukee lost 1-0 to Pittsburgh, as rookie NL-All Star starting pitcher Paul Skenes threw seven no-hit innings. Jake Bauers and Garrett Mitchell broke up the no-hitter with back-to-back hits in the eighth, but the Brewers were unable to score.
