BELOIT — Rock County earned the season sweep of The Badger Lightning with a 4-2 come-from-behind win on Thursday, Jan. 19.

“We kept fighting to get back in and got our first goal and momentum swing from senior Amery on senior night,” Fury head coach Luke Steurer said. “The third period proved to be our best, as we moved the puck quickly and had good shots on net. We ended up with one short-handed goal and three power-play goals for a great comeback win. Jillian was solid in the nets for us all night making some great saves.”

After going down 2-0, Amery Stuckey sparked the comeback with a power-play goal in the second. Emma Kligora completed the effort with a hat trick in the third. In net, Jillian Traver recorded 49 saves with two goals for a .960 save percentage.

The Fury defeated the Lightning 4-3 earlier in the season.
