JUDA - Senior Erika Duecker scored a game-high 15 points to power the Juda girls basketball team to a 48-19 win over Wayland Academy Saturday.

The Panthers raced out to a 21-10 lead at the half. Juda senior Hailey Kammerer added 12 points.

With the win, Juda improves to 6-11 overall and 2-7 in the Six Rivers East Conference. It's the second straight win for the Panthers, which snapped a five-game losing streak by beating Belmont on Friday.

Juda senior Maddie Roth and junior Hannah poiwers each chipped in 6 points. The Panthers shot 90 percent from the free-throw line (9 of 10).

The Panthers outscored Wayland Academy 27-19 in the second half. Juda will play at Pecatonica Tuesday.
