Richard (Rich) Bennett Gordee, Jr.

Richard (Rich) Bennett Gordee, Jr., age 71, went to be with the Lord on September 10, 2026. He was born June 27, 1955 to Richard, Sr. and Lois (Lofgren) Gordee. A 1973 graduate of Argyle High School and 1975 graduate of SW Technical College, Fennimore, Rich worked for Studer Super Service, Monroe, a couple years and then farmed the Gordyle Valley Farms until he retired in 2022 after surgery & treatment for a brain tumor.

Rich and Deb Meyer Jensen were married September 9, 2017, at Grace Lutheran Church in Monroe, WI. They remained on the family farm until October 2025 when they moved to Thornton, CO.

Rich had an outgoing, friendly personality, always with a smile on his face. He loved farming and remained farming until his health didn’t allow. Rich was a model train enthusiast with a huge collection of model trains that he loved showing at various model train shows yearly. Rich enjoyed his Corvettes, driving them instead of a farm truck every chance he could. He enjoyed traveling and playing golf. Rich was a wonderful uncle to his many nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed.

Rich is survived by his wife, Deb of Thornton, CO; his mother Lois Gordee, Monroe; siblings Renee (Donnie) Wendlandt, Ron, and Ramona (George) Bureau and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Richard Gordee, Sr.

Memorial service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, Monroe on Saturday, September 26 at noon with food and fellowship to follow in the church basement.
