BELOIT - Albany's offense found a new gear Monday night.
Amy Golz, Hayli Peach and Tiffany Thompson each scored in double figures in the Comets' runaway victory, 61-36, over Beloit Turner. Golz's 13 led the way, with Peach (11) and Thompson (10) right behind her in the boxscore. Peach hit three triples in the victory.
The Comets led 31-16 at halftime, only to extend their lead to 47-21 after three quarters. Albany welcomes Argyle to their house tonight when Six Rivers East play resumes.

The Vikings were intent on keeping the rain falling.
Parkview buried seven triples on the Ponies' home floor to pull away with a victory.
"They didn't have one good shooter, they had several," Monticello head coach Heath Eliason said. "A team that makes seven 3-pointers is going to be tough to beat."
Haley Blum had 10 points and eight rebounds in the loss to lead Monticello and was praised by her coach after the non-conference game's conclusion.
"She hustles and her stats at the end of the night showed that," Eliason said.
