Rebecca “Becky” L. Mckee, age 66, Monroe, Wisconsin died peacefully on January 27, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born November 6, 1954 Monroe, Wisconsin the daughter of Willis and Joyce (Broge) Wahl.

Becky graduated from Monroe High School in 1972 and attended Highland Community College for Cosmetology. After graduation she opened and ran a successful salon in Winslow, Illinois for six years.

In 1975, Becky married the love of her life, Howard Lynn Mckee. Together they shared a strong faith in God and a deep love for family and friends. Together they farmed for close to 40 years. In addition to helping Lynn on the farm, Becky was a proud, active mom and worked at LSS as an embroidery machine operator.

A little about Becky: Becky was bright, had a great sense of humor, and was very creative. She was: an avid gardener and cook, an exceptional seamstress and quilter, and a ferocious reader who loved mysteries. She loved: children and animals, travel and camping, making-up nicknames for people and explaining everything in detail! Most importantly she was a devoted mom and wife.

Becky is survived by her husband, Howard Mckee, Monroe; daughter, Mikala Mckee, Madison; mother, Joyce Wahl, Monroe; and sisters, Michelle (Keith) Kubly, Monticello; and Heidi (Dan) Flynn, Anchorage, AK.

Becky was preceded in death by her father, Willis Wahl.

A joyful celebration of life will be held at a later time when those that love Becky can gather.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Kidney Fund in the name of Rebecca Mckee.
