Michelle R. Daehlin, age 57, of Monroe passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at the Monroe Clinic Hospital. She was born the daughter of John and Betty (Lincicum) Daehlin on May 19, 1963 in Monroe. Michelle was a graduate of Monroe High School in 1981 and continued her education at Sauk Valley College in Illinois, where she earned her degree in Nursing.

She was a member of Cedarville Baptist Church, the American Legion Post #84 Auxiliary, VFW Post 2312 Auxiliary, she ran the March of Dimes in the Monroe area, and led the Vacation Bible School Program at her church. Michelle also enjoyed sewing, crafting, going to craft shows, and collecting precious moments figurines. Michelle loved babysitting and spoiling her friends’ children.

Michelle is survived by her parents, John and Betty Daehlin of Monroe; many cousins, aunts and uncles, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother, John Paul Daehlin; maternal grandparents, Florence and Francis Lincicum; paternal grandparents, Isaac and Frieda Daehlin.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 PM on Monday, September 14, 2020 at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home. Burial will follow service in Greenwood Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 12:30 until the time of service.
