ALBANY — Three area men were arrested in connection to stolen construction equipment.

Raul NMI Gonzales, 58, of Albany, Erick Gonzalez Colin, 28, of Albany, and Brandon Raul R. Garcia, 18, of Madison were taken into custody following residential search warrants on April 30 and May 1, according to a press release from Green County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy John M. Schuetz.

At approximately 7:44 a.m. on Thursday, April 30, deputies with the Green County Sheriff’s Office and the Rock County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address in the N6500 block of English Settlement Road, Town of Albany, regarding a report of construction equipment stolen from Rock County.

As the investigation continued, Green County Sheriff’s Office Deputies had sought, obtained, and served warrants on the residence in question on Thursday, April 30 and Friday, May 1.

“As a result of this investigation, three adult males were taken into custody for possessing/receiving stolen property, party to a crime,” Schuetz said.

All three subjects were transported to the Green County Jail and held without bond (due to the felony offenses) to await an initial appearance in Green County Circuit Court.

“The investigation remains active and no additional releases are planned at this time,” Schuetz added.
