She was born in Madison on Nov. 20, 1958, to Joseph and Loretta (Endres) Karls. Her family moved to a farm in the Pine Bluff area in 1960. On Feb. 13, 1982, Kristie married the love of her life, Tony Ayers, at St. Mary’s Church in Pine Bluff. They welcomed a son, Adam, who was the pride and joy of her life.
Family was very important to Kristie, especially her identical twin, Kathy, who she shared many wonderful memories. She was also very close to her siblings and their families. Kristie was kind and generous and loved to cook, bake and entertain. Kristie also enjoyed volunteering in the community.
