Six local students pursuing careers in health care are receiving financial support for their education through the Monroe Clinic & Hospital Foundation Volunteer Services Fund.

These annual scholarships are awarded to two high school seniors and four college students studying in health care-related fields. The program is funded in part by cookie day sales, which are held at the hospital on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month.

SSM Health congratulates this year’s scholarship winners:

● Monroe Scholarship ($1,000): Anna Zentner

● Branch Locations Scholarship ($1,000): Ripley Swenson, Belleville High School

● Continued Education Scholarships ($2,000): Ava Ahnen, Karley Michels, Sophia Metz, and Hayley Smith
