G. Patrick Zweifel Jr., age 60 of South Wayne, died Sunday, March 26, 2023 at his home. He was born on March 16, 1963 in Monroe, the son of Gilbert and Jean (Nevel) Zweifel. He graduated from Albany High School in 1981. Patrick married Amy Johnson on March 18, 1989. Patrick was a farmer, cattle trader, and his latest venture was Cattleman Z cattering. He was a member of Brodhead FFA Alumni; he enjoyed smoking meat, playing cards and bingo.

     He is survived by his daughter, Shelie Zweifel of Darlington; grandson, Dutton; mother, Jean Zweifel of Albany; Fiance, Pattea Kruk; siblings: Pam (Mark) Burke of New Glarus, Mike (Tammy) Zweifel of Albany, and Wendy Zweifel of Belleville; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert, son, Patrick, and niece, Tiffany Zweifel.

     A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:30 am Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Darlington, with Fr. Luke Syse celebrating. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery, Brodhead. A visitation will be held Thursday from 9:30 am until the time of service, at the Church. Everson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
