SSM Health and ImpactLife encourage community members to help save a life by participating in an upcoming blood drive:

The blood drive will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30 in the St. Clare Room of SSM Health Monroe Clinic Medical Group, 515 22nd Avenue, Monroe.

To be prepared for giving blood, be sure to think ahead:

● Eat a hearty dinner (eggs, meat, leafy greens, fruit, etc.) the night before

● Get 8 hours of good sleep the night before

● Eat a hearty breakfast and be sure to hydrate all day before you donate
