MONROE - Warrrants for the arrests of two out-of-state men were filed in Green County on Friday after they were charged in separate sexual assault incidents.

Joshua Brian Hopkins, 27, Madisonville, Kentucky, was charged with a Class B felony count of first-degree child sexual assault and a Class C felony count of repeated sexual assault of the same child.

According to a police report, the charges resulted from an interview with the victim on Dec. 6 of this year. In the interview, the victim, now a teenage girl, said Hopkins had had sexual contact with her multiple times between 2008 and 2011.

The initial criminal complaint was unclear as to whether the encounters were consensual, although the victim's age was significantly below the state's age of consent. Hopkins was 19 at the time of their first contact.

Hopkins has yet to be arrested. The maximum possible sentence for his charges is 65 years in prison.

Luke Zechariah Coldiron, 31, Palatka, Florida, was charged with a Class B felony count of first-degree child sexual assault as well as a Class H felony count of failing to update Wisconsin's sex offender registry of his status as a sex offender.

Coldiron was charged following an interview with a girl on April 13 of this year. In the interview, the girl claimed to have been molested by Coldiron on May 4 of 2013; Coldiron was 27 at the time.

According to the criminal complaint, the victim said she was playing video games with Coldiron when Coldiron lifted her shirt and touched her breasts. After the incident, Coldiron reportedly told her to not tell anyone about it.

Coldiron was also discovered to have been convicted of first-degree sexual assault in Polk County, Oregon, in 2003. When Coldiron moved to Wisconsin in 2013, he failed to inform the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry of his status as a convicted sex offender.

Coldiron has not yet been arrested. The maximum possible sentence for his charges is 43 years in prison.
