MONROE - Ubersox Auto Group announced the promotion of four employees Dec. 18. Ubersox has four Wisconsin locations: Ubersox Chrysler in Platteville, Ubersox of Iowa County in Barneveld, Ubersox PreDriven in Darlington and Ubersox Used Car Super Store in Monroe.
Matt Ubersox, who has been managing the Ubersox PreDriven in Darlington for the last five years, was promoted to manage Ubersox of Iowa County, a new and used Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and RAM dealership in Barneveld. He grew up in Darlington and has been involved in the community for years. He is active in his church and enjoys the ATV and snowmobile trails in the area. He and his wife Jolene are looking forward to meeting the Barneveld community.
Calvin Gahm went to school in the Freeport area and studied automotive technology at Southern Illinois University. He started working for Chrysler Corporation in 2009, developing service information for technicians around the world. He worked there for six years before starting a career selling vehicles for them. He started working for the Ubersox Auto Group in 2016 at the Monroe location most recently and has been selling vehicles in the Platteville location. He and Lynnea live in Warren with his 6-year-old daughter. When not working, he enjoys driving demolition derby cars, going for bike rides with his daughter or working on Gahm Farms, his father's dairy farm.
Jeremiah Strese, long-time service manager at the Monroe Used Car Super Store, was promoted to the fixed operations manager at Ubersox of Iowa County in Barneveld. He will be overseeing all service operations including service technicians, parts and detail shop. He is a member of the Monticello Fire Department and lives in Monticello with his wife of 19 years.
Mercedes Coniber is the new service writer in Platteville. She brings a wealth of knowledge and customer service skills from the Barneveld location. She has six children, which makes her an expert at multi-tasking and keeping everyone on schedule.
