MADISON - A Monroe man is in federal custody after being indicted this week on three child pornography counts.
Thomas Zwicker, 67, was arrested Friday in Grant County and will make his initial appearance Monday before Federal Magistrate Stephen Crocker.
The grand jury indictment unsealed Friday alleged:
Zwicker received computer images of sexually explicit conduct involving a minor on July 6, 2011 and July 27, 2012.
Zwicker also allegedly possessed a computer on June 10 containing sexually explicit images of a child.
The indictment also seeks forfeiture of Zwicker's computer that allegedly contain child pornography.
If convicted Zwicker faces five to 20 years in prison followed by a maximum of lifetime supervised release.
A call to Assistant U.S. Attorney Julie Pfluger, who is prosecuting the case, was not returned before deadline.
The charges were brought after an investigation involving the Monroe Police and New York State Police.
