MONROE - Green Haven Family Advocates is having its first Expedition Scavenger Hunt fundraiser Oct. 18.
Team registration forms are available at the Monroe Chamber of Commerce and Industry office, Monroe Public Library and online at greenhaven4help.com. Registration forms are due Aug. 30.
Green Haven is a community-based, not-for-profit organization dedicated to strengthening the individuals and families of Green County affected by abuse and violence through prevention education, advocacy, support and services.
Teams will meet Oct. 18 at Twining Park in Monroe and receive "Haunted Green County" themed clues. Clue keepers will be at each clue site to confirm correct solving of the clue. If clues have a team stumped, hints will be available for $5 each.
Once the team has solved all the clues, it returns to Twining Park for entertainment, a closing ceremony and prizes.
For more information, contact Jan Benkert at 328-6489 ext. 106.
