MONROE - More than 50 Green County businesses are taking part in the third annual Stateline Home and Business Expo on Friday, April 5 and Saturday, April 6 at the SLICE arena, 1632 4th Ave. West.
Hosted by the Monroe Chamber of Commerce, the event is being marketed this year as the home and business expo for the entire region.
Business sectors include health services, banking industry, telecommunications, electronics, landscaping, home improvement, farm equipment, automobiles and motorcycles.
About 500 high school seniors are expected to visit booths on Friday and have the opportunity to speak with Colony Brands and other Green County employers. Students could earn a $300 scholarship just for attending the expo and can enter a drawing for one of three $1,500 scholarships, sponsored by Colony Brands.
