Monroe Police

MONROE — A two-vehicle accident with no injuries was reported in the 400 block of 8th Street at 3:08 p.m. Tuesday, March 31. Hannah E. Obert, 20, Lena, pulled onto 8th Street from a business driveway and collided with a westbound vehicle driven by a 21-year-old Evansville man. Moderate to minor vehicle damage was reported. Obert was cited for failure to yield right-of-way while emerging from a non-highway access.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — Darrell Landherr, 60, Lanark, Illinois, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash reported in the N1800 block of Wis. 69, Town of Clarno, at 6:54 a.m. Tuesday, March 31. He lost control of his vehicle, which entered the ditch and hit a fence. The vehicle sustained disabling damage. It was towed. Landherr was cited for unsafe lane deviation and failure to maintain control of a vehicle.


Lafayette County Sheriff 

DARLINGTON — Bryce A. Morris, 19, Burlington, reported hitting a deer at 5:01 p.m. Friday, March 27, on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove. No injuries were reported. The 2018 Ford sustained severe damage. It was towed.

●  Mitchell J. Quinn, 19, South Wayne, reported hitting a deer at 11:11 a.m. Sunday, March 29, on Dietz Lane, Town of Wayne. No injuries were reported. The 2017 Chevrolet sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

On Monday, March 30:

●  A one-vehicle accident was reported at 1:21 a.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Argyle. The Argyle Fire Department and Argyle EMS assisted deputies on scene.

●  Cynthia D. Corley, 58, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 6:20 a.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington. The 2017 Acura sustained minor damage.
