On June 18:

● 11:01 p.m. Timothy Batholomew, AR reported striking a deer while on STH 11, Gratiot Township. No injuries were reported and his 2016 GMC received no damage and was driven from the scene.

On June 19:

● 6:37 a.m. Danielle R. Halfhill, 34, Argyle reported striking a deer on Spore Rd, Argyle Township. Halfhill reported no injuries and her 2018 Jeep received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

● 7:21 p.m. Deputies responded to STH 11, Village of South Wayne for a check welfare. As a result, Lucas R. Baker, Huntley, IL was arrested for Criminal Damage to property and Disorderly Conduct. Baker was brought to the Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and later released to a responsible party.

● 9:54 p.m. Emily J. Melville, 25, Galena, IL reported striking a deer on Round Rd, Wiota Township. Melville reported no injuries and her 2024 Ford received minor damage and was driven from the scene.

● 11:24 p.m. Wilmer A. Toj Bamacz, 24, Shullsburg was arrested for Operating Without a License 2nd offense, while on CTH W, New Diggings Township. Wilmer was brought to the Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and later released.

On June 20:

● 2:42 a.m. Angel G. Martinez-Sanchez,49, Darlington was arrested for Operating without a license 2nd offense and cited for Operating while intoxicated 1st offense while on Galena St, City of Darlington. Martinez was brought to Lafayette County jail where he was booked and later released.
